Crankworx and FMBA Launch Slopestyle World Championship
I know some Monster contracts are $30k a year basing it off that probably like $50k for the top riders realistically but I was being conservative with my numbers.

@dieghino94: Gwinn makes around a million a year. Top freeriders probably a little less but still 100k+ https://www.singletracks.com/blog/mtb-videos/aaron-gwin-makes-1-million-per-year/

@robito: what is fair pay for someone that rides their bikes for a living? It's not just competition winnings but a Redbull contract is like $30K a year plus bike sponsor, plus outer wear, plus googles, the top riders that are traveling to events are making pretty decent money. Top ten riders are probably pulling $100k+/year. The real thing that needs to be built into contracts is health insurance and disability as those guys are taking big risks which could keep them out of the game for a bit, and that is where things need to change.

New Trails at Trestle Bike Park Underway
Indeed, the only people building proper trails around this state is gravity logic. When they were digging at Sol Vista it was hands down the best park in the state. When Sol Vista was at its peak it was miles better than WP has ever been.

Have you ridden banana peel or rain maker (with any speed)!?! For flow its not much better than the stuff at keystone, poor building at both parks. Banana peel absolutely sucks as soon as you get to the banana hammock, you have to sprint at the last 3 jumps to make them.

@geerumm: Jesus, I was bombing down the lower part of TNT assuming the cleaned it up after the awful wood feature they put in and was surprised the removed exactly 0 loose rocks from the trail. It was a good and a bad feeling lol

This! I didnt buy a season pass to trestle this year because it lacks variety. I only go to WP if I want to lap Banana Peel with the boys, other than that there is very little worth riding there that isnt clogged with Joeys everywhere. Vail and Key have pretty good technical features. Keystone trail crew sucks though, literally anything they touch somehow gets worse. Vail has great technical trails and is never crowded (with bikers, weddings/tourists get a bit busy though)
