Press Release - Commencal Launches "Ride Alpha" Components
Does it matter for riders that they use a Comencal bar on their Kona or a Transition bar on their santa Cruz. Is it better for bike brands to give their parts a different brand name?

Opinion: Why the Mountain Bike Industry Isn't Going To Listen To You
No advantage for 650b in Dirt Jump Freeride and Slope Style. They might not be the most popular genres for cashed up old dudes, but the FMB world tour is all on 26" . It will remain the tire size for those who get upside down. Before you sell all your 26ers go watch every freeride mountainbike video ever made, all 26" bikes baby. You might think you don't look lame, lycra clad and pot bellied riding a carbon 650b midlife crisis mobile. But your not a young gun inverted 26er. Go blow your cash on that carbon cushy cruzer. Try to man it up by saying your "Enduro" Go for it. You know you want to.

FMB Announces New Structure for 2014
Good point, I also would add that it needs to be sold to the general public better. Not the bikers who are going to watch it online. But people watch TV shows about ice road truckers or crab fishing of well even buying old junk and selling it. there has to be a great TV show in it, following the circus of riders around the world. Lots of behind the scenes stuff etc. Would be way more watchable than people working in a porn shop.

First Look - Kali Protectives' Shiva
Some people complain about the price, but mid crash before your head smashes into those oncoming rocks, how mush value would you put on having proper brain function for the rest of your life? Some people would spend more on a ipad that will be worthless in a couple of years. It is always nice to remember no-one plans the accident that is about to happen.

Pinkbike Poll: The Local Bike Shop
I sell bikes to bike shops, some are great some, well - the worst shop I dealt with the owner was caught with drugs by the police. At that time he owed me $16,000 for unpaid bikes and was not paying up, and dodging my calls. So when he got caught with drugs, he told the police that I was sending him drugs with bike orders. Not true of-course so one morning at 9am I had 8 undercover police raid my house! Searching through my wifes clothing draws while I had to explain to my 4yr old son what was happening. No drugs were found my name was cleared and the shop owner now works for another bike distributor amazingly enough. If you see Tony Szultz working at Jykk punch him for me will ya, I will give you a free bike.
