Fulcrum Racing 3 Wheelset

$425 CAD
Light, snappy, fast wheels – made by Campagnolo under their Fulcrum brand, these things are pretty much bulletproof... never needed truing. 10/11/12sp Campy cassette carrier (but they can be converted to Shimano or SRAM if you want). Complete with aluminum QR skewers and fancy red wheel bags. Lightly used (two summers) – bearings still glass-smooth and loads of brake surface left. Great way to upgrade your ride.

Scott Spark 30 Full-Suspension Trail Rocket

$1600 CAD
This is a fantastic bike – very light, nimble, and fast, with well-balanced suspension. Just a whole lot of fun. In great shape. Well-loved and well-cared-for. Purchased at Performance Bicycles in Victoria, and regularly serviced there. Size Medium. Carbon main triangle, alloy rear. 120mm travel front and rear, with Scott's Twinloc system that changes the front and rear suspension simultaneously with a bar-mounted trigger. RockShox Rebas up front and DT Swiss 'Nude' Carbon shock out back. Adjustable geometry (XC or Trail) via flip chip on the linkage. Strong DT Swiss wheels, Shimano XT drivetrain and XT Ice-Tech brakes. Also included: - Thomson Elite dropper post with remote (I never really had much use for it so I took it off) - Spare XT chain (brand new) - Spare Schwalbe Rocket Ron tire & spare tubes - 175mm XT crankset w/ BB (I put a 170mm on because it's my preferred length, but the 175mm came with the bike) Please call or email with questions. Thanks for looking.

2013 Avid Four Piston X0 Trail Brake - First Ride
If you can actually *get* XTs. My new bike has been sitting at the shop since the beginning of January, waiting on an XT rotor that's been backordered since November!

SRAM's 10 Speed Grip Shift
Everything old is new again. I remember when the original (offline) flame wars were on between Rapidfire+ and GripShit adherents (guess you can tell which side I came down on)... I referred to them as carpal tunnel shifters because my wrists kept getting sore after rides. Far as I'm concerned that was an evolutionary dead-end, but I'm happy if others find their shifting nirvana. I'm still going to call it GripShit, though :-)

G-Form Knee Pads Review
Do you know if you can wear both knee and shin versions together to make a full lower-leg-coverage unit? Just wondering if the overlaps would interfere with the gripper silicone...

Thanks - it's served me well. That little extra travel up front makes it a great trail bike; not too twitchy going down and still very eager going up.
