Yeti sb4.5c Large with Nobl Carbon 33 Wheelset

$3800 USD
Yeti got it right with the sb4.5, and it continues to have a bit of a cult following even as Yeti has been changing its designs. A true do-all trail bike, the sb4.5 handles an incredibly wide variety of trails, from flowy machine-groomed to chunky descents. It can even make for a good day at the bike park. Switch Infinity climbs incredibly well yet feels supple and fluid on the downhills--the bike is just a joy to ride. This is the standard Yeti carbon frame with a few upgrades including brand new 4-piston XT brakes, a Yeti carbon handlebar, and a Nobl 33 carbon wheelset laced to Industry Nine Torch hubs. Front bearings and dust seals were just replaced and I have a full set of rear bearings for future maintenance. Price Firm A solid collection of reviews and video links can be found here: https://www.worldwidecyclery.com/blogs/worldwide-cyclery-blog/the-ultimate-guide-to-the-yeti-sb4-5 Frame: Yeti sb4.5c carbon frame, switch infinity, size large Fork: Fox Factory 34 fork 140mm w/ Kashima coating Handlebar: New! Yeti 740 carbon handlebar (775mm) Stem: Easton Haven aluminum stem 60mm Grips: Ergon lock-on grips Brakes: NEW! XT brake levers and 4-piston brakes Rotors: XT Icetech rotors, centerlock, 180mm front (new), 160mm rear Seatpost: Rock Shox Reverb dropper Saddle: WTB Yeti branded saddle Wheelset: Nobl 33 carbon wheelset w/ I9 Torch hubs, sapim spokes, alloy nipples (website) Tires: Maxxis Minion DHF EXO 2.3 up front, Maxxis Ardent EXO 2.25 in the rear Shock: Fox Float Factory shock w/ Kashima coating Crankset: Race Face Turbine aluminum crankset, 175, 30t installed (will include 28 as well) Chain: SRAM chain Cassette SRAM XO (10-42) Rear Der.: SRAM XO The bike is in excellent working order with only minor nicks and scrapes from normal use. No carbon damage. Issues: The Reverb can be a touch sticky on the return--depends on the day and its mood to the best I can tell. A fresh bleed should fix that. I’m also missing an internal cable rubber port on the downtube. I’m working on tracking one down but that’s also a quick fix. Not included: pedals, mudguard (sentimental value), water bottle cage (Kidding! It’s a Yeti) Will ship within USA and Canada only via BikeFlights for $100

Turner Flux, Lg, Two Wheelsets

$3200 USD
Smooth, agile, centered, and fast, the Turner Flux is a XC machine with tons of versatility. When I shopped for this bike originally, the folks at Turner told me they wanted the handling to be "intuitive," and that's probably about the best word I could use to describe this bike. Our trails here are tight, flowy, with poppy hills and the occasional chunky section, and I've never felt better or had a bike feel more natural than this one. I timed myself repeatedly on this bike vs. my old Niner hardtail that my son now rides (which is also 4 lbs lighter), and my times always come out identically, which shows that for a lot of riding, 26" is faster 50% of the time. That's due in large part to Turner's dialed in geometry and especially the dw-link suspension, which is super smooth and makes for great climbing and descending--the thing is like a missile (additional speed complements of the recently-added dropper post). I upgraded to the the Haven Carbon wheelset for faster rides, which means the two wheelsets offer even more versatility for this amazing bike. Hammer fast laps or go adventuring, this bike does both with equal skill. Turner Flux, aluminum, size Large Fox Float 32 CTD front fork, 120mm Fox Float rear shock XT Shift levers XT Brakes XT Crank w/ 32t RaceFace narrow-wide single chainring XT Cassette and chain XT clutched rear derailleur XT bottom bracket Cane Creek headset Race Face stem Easton EC70 bar, 170mm ODI lock on Turner grips (worn) Rock Shox Reverb seatpost, external cable, 125mm drop (new this spring), right hand trigger mounted left, upside down (online advice came through--like this setup much better) Fizik Gobi saddle Easton Haven Carbon wheelset with Mavic Race King tires Pedals NOT included Also included: Easton EA70 Wheelset with Bontrager XR2EXP (knobby) front and XR2TeamIssue (similar to Racing Ralph) rear. NOTE: does not come with cassette or rotors. Original EC70 carbon seatpost Original triple rings and shifter (front derailleur IS included, not shown in pic) Bike is in excellent condition. It has been ridden for 2 years and shows minor scratches on frame and wheels and normal cosmetic signs of wear. All components are well cared for: new brake pads this spring, I replace my chain well before wear to save the cassette, clean it regularly, etc. Will have my shop box and ship to continental US or Canada for $150. Local pick up of course an option.
