Over its 18 years of production the V12 has become recognized as the benchmark for flat pedal performance. For 2014 we took our iconic V12 body design and redefined it. PLATFORM is a brief history of the V12 pedal and the impact it had on an entire generation of riders. Click for more here.
I think its odd when people observe a lack of helmets as if some how you REALLY care about all those unprotected people. Being as safe as possible is fashionable and its the right thing to do right?
This video might be considered as some sort of anti-propaganda for newest hi-tech bike and suspensions deigns. I mean, short stroke suspensions, v-brakes, narrow bars, 26 wheels etc. etc., and still having riding dynamics and flow as todays riders have with modern $ 5K+ bikes. You can develop the most advanced tech and sell it in its weight in gold, but riders input is something that was, is and will be most important variable. And that's indisputable. Period
The one thing i distinctly disliked about the DMR pedals was that the metal seal/ shim was never fixed so it would slide down axle of the pedal and move about. Anyone else experienced this or has this since been resolved?
exactly... i like pc´s because they create that efect on a shoe like wax on a bodyboard ... it has more grip when wet... it has pins just enough to grab well the shoes... but not big enough to do holes in your legs ... its cheap... and its light ... and if it gets scratched it will keep the same color... but maybe it wont last so long has aluminiums... at the time i just bought it to give it a try... because it was light and cheap...
Been riding DMR bikes for a long time, Have had or used most of there products over the years
First sidekick with APS was mine!
Had alot of V12's over the years, just about to fit some vaults which I cant wait to use
All good
Sprung videos were great, when I watch them now its like I remember that, I was doing it with those riders. When I watch current videos I feel so far removed from what they are doing.
great pedals though.
V8s were amazing for the money at the time. Still gripper than some modern pedals. The only issue was the small platform which they appear to have solved.
I met Matt and Dom back in 2000 i went over for some riding and ended up buying a sidekick and a trailstar for a buddy,i rode in the trails behind the warehouse.good guys.
riding shimano spd from first day, and having it on all my bikes I recently decided to try ang got pair of DMR Vault and 5.10 shoes. Pretty cool to ride and Vaults are great.. However, they will never really replace my sidi and my spd ... I already caught myself looking what pedal type I ride with, before I start my descent
It's funny how I get neg propped for having multiple bad experiences with DMR just trying to warn others. It makes me wonder who gives all the neg props and what their reasons are. All I know is I won't buy DMR or azonic as they have had the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with
Mark B and Blade ft Rodney P- I think it's off Mark B and Blade's 2000 release 'The Unknown'. Although I'd have to dig out some vinyl to find out for sure! Propper UK hip hop...
If I wasn't so insulted by there 10% off on a crash replacement frame wich broke right at the bend for the tire on the rear chain stays where it's thin I would stop
I had the cheaper version of these wich were not good the DMR tires I had for my dj bubbled up all over the side walls and the exalt frame I had broke in 2 and a half seasons and they told me I could get a whopping 10% off on a crash replacement frame. Wich is when they lost my buisness would way rather ride the diety pedals for 48$!
And I recognize a lot of this clips from sprung etc!
Those were the actual days! Nothing beats em!!!
www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7CdZzV9A4g&list=PL05D77C585244C2A2 the song: "We stay rough"
the unknown think there was 2-3 tunes of this album used in sprung 2
