Having just ridden Bootleg, the last race course was fucking bananas.

Thanks everyone! We are stoked for the Reaper too. More updates next Monday as more fun gets finalized. Hint #1. All racers that cross the finish line will feel like they are at a World Cup event.

@Enduro27 not trying to be a dick or anything, but a super d is a much different format than enduro. Enduro has multiple special timed downhill stages and super d has either one or two with less technical descents and focuses more on fitness.

 Clueless!

@nateross8 I am so sick of people saying super d is panty-waist enduro, more climbing and less tech. BS. Super D was rowdy and awesome, mostly DH point-to-point but not as gnar as DH. Which is basically what one enduro segment is. Enduro is basically a bunch of awesome Super D's strung together.

Bootleg is manstuff. Only the strong survive. I can attest to that from attending the last few races. Bring it on!

Is entry fee gonna be 100$ again?
  • 4 0
Nope, it's $80.00 and includes 2 days of shuttle, your race run, a cool event t-shirt, raffle tickets for at least 2 prizes worth over $250.00 each and prizes and medals for all that make the podium. For pros you get a medal and a piece of the $2,000.00 cash purse. Free camping or $40.00 rooms and 2 parties where you can get some free food and beer. All that for $80.00. Same price as last race. For those that wait to register on-site the cost does increase to cover the additional staff required.

Cool thanks for the quick response> Is it a nationals qualifier?
  • 3 0
Okay, time for my sarcasm that is true. We can make the races cheaper by: 1 less shuttle truck, no medics, timing that is not as accurate, no t-shirts and a different venue. There, I said it. Hope to see you at the Reaper and let the party/race begin! WooHoo!

The Reaper is not an actual qualifier for the Nationals. It was supposed to be as we put a bid in for a Pro GRT. Yep, we were surprised too by not getting the bid again. Would of made for a better schedule. Back to your question; The Five Ten Reaper Madness is a Level "C" USA Cycling event. Meaning, you get points and depending how many you currently have, may qualify you for the Nationals.

Jimmy, to save you a few bucks more (8.00 or so?), you can call us to register and then send us a check. That way you avoid the Active.com fees. Working on getting a mail in form on our site, but 3 races in 3 months has kept us busy. The price does increase by $10.00 on March 1st. See, I am trying. Ha-ha.

Total bulls&%! that it's not a ProGRT... #usachatesyou The Reaper was definitely one of the best courses on the ProGRT last year, in my opinion, as well as what I have been told by racers who made it to most of them, and also mentioned as one of the best World Cup prep race courses in the States by Mr. Gwin himself. Whatever, Mike, we don't need no stinkin USAC!
