I'm 1.72 with short legs & long torso/arms (relatively) the short stem availability was the thing that makes my decision.
The choice between M & L mainly depends on what you're gonna make with your bike.
To be honest, that's a long bike for me, but that's what I wanted for racing.
Totally at ease on it, not easy to manual but since I'm very bad at it ...

Tu vois que c'est ce que j'ai fait et oui l'étrier est bien positionné, mais sans les coupelles Avid.
Ensuite pas difficile d'en ajouter 1 ou 2 s'il fallait écarter.

Hi,
just put my bike in front of a wall, then measured the distance from,
the wall to the BB center (D1)
the wall to the HT center (D2)
D1 - D2 = frame reach + 15mms stem = 440mms
