Giro Switchblade Helmet - First Look: Crankworx Whistler 2016
@hamncheez: Fair point actually. I'd much rather use it on the snow.

Giro Switchblade Helmet - First Look: Crankworx Whistler 2016
Mountain bikers are all about goofy style. Take almost any sort of mountain bike specific apparel out of a mountain bike context and you'll look like a right Derek/Colin

Giant Reign X - Large

$550 GBP
2007 Giant Reign X - Large frame Shock: Fox DHX 3.0 coil Brakes: Shimano Zee (203mm/180mm rotors) Hubs: Hope Pro 2 (20mm front, QR rear) Rims: Mavic 721 (front), Mavic 321 Disc (rear) Tyres: Schwalbe Hans Dampf (Trailstar front, Pacestar rear) Cranks: Shimano SLX Chain device: Blackspire Stinger Seatpost: Maverick Speedball R Saddle: Charge Spoon Bars: Renthal Fatbar (uncut) Stem: X-Lite Steve Peat signature (50mm) Rear mech: Shimano XT shadow Front mech: Shimano LX Shifter: XTR (rear), Sram X7 (front) Grips: Ruffian lock-ons The bike is in reasonable condition for it's age. I replaced the bearings in the upper linkage relatively recently and also have a replacement for one of the lower sets that I never got round to installing. I also switched the upper mount kit with a new TF low friction kit not too long ago. The lower bushing is still ok. The front tyre has about 50% life left but the rear has only had 1, maybe 2 rides on it so it's more or less as new. The brake pads have got a reasonable amount of material left on them but the front is currently not really biting so it may have got contaminated somewhere along the line. That or it just needs a bit more bedding in. There's a new set of sintered pads that can go in if they don't improve though. The rims have got quite a lot of scratches from rock strikes etc but are free from any big dings or dents. The seatpost has quite a lot of side to side play because the guide block is a little worn. I didn't really find it much of an issue when actually sat on it but a new block should solve the problem. I've just reset the air pressure in it and regreased everything but there is still a bit of compression when weighting it so it either needs a few more cycles to sort itself out (which it normally does after sorting the pressure) or if it not, it may actually need an oil change. Although Maverick doesn't sell the post anymore, Crankbrothers bought the rights to the design so as far as I'm aware, it's identical to the CB Joplin post. The bike also doesn't currently have pedals on but I could potentially stick the old DMR V8s back on that are shown in the pictures if needed. The fork is a Fox 36 Van R. However, the reason I haven't listed it in the spec is that it's not really rideable in its current state. The axle pinch bolt threads have stripped on the right leg and the stanchions are worn, which seems to be a common issue with these forks. Any questions just give me a shout. Would prefer cash on collection but may consider posting at buyers expense

Rémy Métailler in Hafjell - Video
Yeah he's fast for sure, but he doesn't seem to be world cup fast, which just goes to show ridiculously quick the WC guys are.

Yeah, who does that title fall too now? Vergier? Although I can't see that taking too long.
