Video: XC Sucks with Lief Rodgers
XC racing more fun than enduro. You actually feel competitive spirit when there are riders around you instead of just battling with your fears on enduro stage. You are actually working for more than an hour and going through a range of emotions during the race. Racing XC gave me so many colorful memories I will be carrying through my life. Racing enduro? Well, the camping with the bros was cool...

First Look: Canyon's Revised Spectral Family Has a Wheel Size For Every Style
My Spectral developed a crack in early June and I've got a new frame assembly only in late September. A buddy broke a Propain and was back on two wheels in 3 weeks. So sorry to choose a wrong brand :-(

Final Results from the Women's XC at the Tokyo Olympics
@sonuvagun: because in the western world seen an individual (and especially women) as "beautiful" or "attractive" is considered unacceptable. There are two reasons for that 1. Imposing beauty standards is not fair to other people who are not born with this appearance. That's hypocrisy, because we do admire some other people's genetic features like body's reaction to training (average Joe might train as hard as MvP but it's very doubtfully he ever get a yellow jersey). 2. Admiration of woman appearance automatically (in the eyes of the progressive western community) "objectifies" her, reducing any of her other achievements in favor of her looks. That's why I could get away with saying that Gee Atherton is handsome, but God forbid to mention something like that on Jolanda. This is also hypocrisy because I never said that I don't admire her focus on target and hard work to get to the top of this sport. Actually my post was a bit of social experiment, which did prove we are getting closer and closer to the world Mr Orwell described in his 1984 book. Great job people, let's continue this way!

Social Round Up: XC Athletes Arrive in Tokyo for the Olympics
@suspended-flesh: for everything there are two sides of the story, as we all were taught in the college: supply and demand. With all the respect for atlethes, they are on the supply part of the graph, so what they want means very little for the overall equation. Now the demand part are the people who care, watch and pay to watch the games. Those people are here, among the commenters and that's why is this discussion going on. But I guess the respect towards Olympics is something closer to religion, hence doubting their importance make people feel uncomfortable, which is a cool thing to observe from the side.
