if it's taking them hours to mill a cassette then they are using the wrong machines or programmers, don't fall for the marketing BS. also, twice as long to machine the above chainring than a dirtbike sprocket?! case closed, I'm done here.

most modern multi axis machining centers can easily hold a tolerance of 1-2 thou several thousand off. all the hard work is done in the design process, once the program is in the machine there's not much left to do other than empty a swarf bin occasionally...
