Greetings everyone. I am selling my 2016 Trek Remedy 9.9. A few words about the bike.Many of you probably know that a 9.9 trek mountain bike is the best of what Trek company has to offer when comes to mountain bike.Climbs effortlessly descend effortlessly ,in a few words is so good that is the only frame that trek gives lifetime warranty on a carbon frame.In 2016 Trek didn't offer a complete 9.9 remedy for sale only the frameset for (3500$) so the bike is a very rare one. I build the bike from scratch last year being very enthusiastic about it. Main and rear tringle is full OCLV MOUNTAIN CARBON(4 times stronger than steel but 7 times lighter) The frame is dressed up in 3M Heli tape best in protecting carbon frame and on top of that i used electrical black tape just to be sure the bike will remain without scratches -brand new rear shock fox evol re:aktiv -fork rockshox pike rebuild last year in may by (Suspension Experts factory tuning center) no scratches on the stantions what so ever currently at 160 mm travel but i wil include a 150 mm air cartridge at no cost for those who want to play with the geometry of the bike a bit -Sram xx1 carbon crankset with 32 narrow wide chainring brand new in 2017 no scratches -brand new shimano slx brakes and pads avid rotors 180 front/180 rear -brand new shimano xt clucth derailleur -brand new shimano xt cassette 11 speed 11-46 -brand new shimano xt shifter -brand new xtr chain -brand new wtb volt saddle -brand new bontranger line dropper post internal routed -brand new bontranger xr4 expert tires -brand new 40 mm enduro stem 7 degrees rise -brand new Loaded AmXc 760mm carbon handlebars 20 mm rise -brand new Easton grips Jalco m420 enduro wheelsset formula hubs Extra 150mm air shaft for the fork if you wish to return it back to 150mm of travel Bike is in nearly flawless condition or i should say is a 9.9 out of 10. There is one very small chip in the chainstay (clearcoat chip) that i tried to capture in the pictures ,suspension bearings brakes wheels are flawless Everything else is in mint condition. I have maybe 15 good rides on this bike probably 10 out 15 together with my 7 years old way under 200 miles on it.Always took good care of it washed and kept in my living room. The bike is medium 18.5/17.5 I am selling it because i don't have the time to enjoy it as much as i thought having the third baby on the way and is not worthy to keep a bike like this that seats most of the time in my living room. The bike: -trek fuel aluminum frame17.5/16.5(no dents at all just a few scratches) -whells mavic slr dressed up tubeless in 2.2 race king continental tires .retailed for 1200$ -fork fox float kashima coating ctd (climb trail descent) switch rebound knob bought brand knew less than 15 rides.retailed for 800.(120mm travel) -fsa slk carbon fiber handlebars 720mm -easton e70 carbon fiber seatpost -bontrager evoke 2 cro-mo rails saddle new -sram xo carbon fiber shifter -sram x9 derailleur -avid elixir brakes works perfect no need to bleed -bb92 bottom bracket press fit clean and grease less than 15 rides ago -shimano xt crankarms 175mm new jagwire derailleur cable -rear shock rp2 drcv rebuild less than 200 miles ago. Everthing on the bike works flawlessly. The bike is a blast to ride very agile and very very light for an aluminum frame 26.4 pounds with pedals which are very heavy enduro pedals. 2009 trek remedy 9 awesome frame.18.5 seat tube length was designed for 26' inch wheels but you can feet 27.5 wheels too.The frame is made out of red alpha aluminum which was the best aluminium trek used back in 2009 .Very strong frame.Rear shock re cently serviced by fox 5.9 inches travel .You can use a 160 mm travel fork on this frame was designed for it. I will trade it for similar frame enduro or all mountain in a medium size or the same frame in 17.5 inches thank you

Hi everyone.I a selling my 2009 trek remedy 9 in excellent condition.This is my first full suspension bike and the first real bike that i ever owned.I have the bike for 2 years now and i have no regrets whatsoever for buying it.Last year a had a full overhauled done by Fox on the rear shock.and the fork too.a week ago a put new housing and shifter cable,trued the wheels and adjust the brakes.Fork Fox RC2 talas 36 160mm -130-100 travel rear shock fox rp23 5.9 inches travel .Shifters and derailleurs sram xo.Crank truvativ noir gxp Brakes Avid Elixir (which by the way against all the bad talking about Avid are amazing brakes) .Tires Kenda Nevegal2.35. Oem stem bontrager 90 mm 7 degrees rise.Rims bontrager rhythm comp with bontrager logo but are made by dt swiss for Trek.The bike has a few scratches but that's all. For those of you who love enduro you know what this bike is capable of.And now the reasons for selling the bike:First i am 5'9 tall and a 19.5 it is too big for me.Second i am building a Trek fuel 17.5 (and i can't keep 2 bikes)Third i am leaving in Chicago Illinois so this bike here doesn't make any sense.We have no mountains no descents.Thank you Feel free to call me or text me with any questions.P.S I can send a tone of pictures by email
