Santa Cruz Nomad - Review
One of the claimed benefits of carbon rims is the stiffness but you have to run flexy spokes? Also I do not see how a thinner spoke affects the tension at the spoke hole.

Why the negs? He's right, it is a linkage driven single pivot bike. Different layout but similar to many bikes including the fury, transition etc.

I actually prefer the pinch bolts, much cleaner look and lighter. I feel it is more secure as well.

I believe the unsprung weight is a myth. With an inverted fork all of the damper oil and spring are now at the bottom of the fork and "sprung". Imagine pike taken apart, the lower casting or sprung portion of the fork is a lot lighter than the sliders, damper oil, and spring.
