Even though Brook 'Bulldog' MacDonald's 2013 season was cut short due to his shoulder injury, he is amped up and ready to come out flying for the 2014 season.
I am really going to be rooting for Brook this year. Sucks that he was injured last season, He did so well at Fort William, then was injured and out for the season right after that. Assuming he is healthy, I think he will be challenging for another world cup win for 2014!
It'd be cool to see if the session claimed another overall champion title. Go ahead all you dumb demo lovers, hate on this all you want. Neg prop me. I wont lose any sleep over it.
Riding with Brook a couple times a week at the mo, hes on full form, getting stronger and faster than ever before, hes amped for the upcoming season, I place all bets on him, climbing the steps again this season, focusing on one thing , to be on top ! Yeeea boi ! Chur
Brook MacDonald is one of my favourite downhillers! Fast, fearless, and totally chill. Hard not to love this guy. Be wicked to see him healthy and charging podiums again. Go Brook!!
Brook is one of the first people I knew in he mountain biking scene. I typed in "downhill mtb" on YouTube and found that three part New Zealand bit on redbull. It's my favorite video ever and I've idolized brook ever since! He's an awesome rider and you gotta love that kiwi accent!
Finally! An actual downhill video! None of this cruising down the tow path with 10 inch travel bikes B.S.! I did not want to see this guy eat nuts at any point in this edit. Awesome video!
510 stealth rubber and relatively new sharp pins. After a descent, or few jumps, if I want to get off the bike shoe pulls up the pedal like a clip, so it's never like feet moving around on flats, provided that based on appropriate choice of equipment. The only think to worry is to place feet in the right position on pedal, becasue correcting it by sliding during riding is impossible without lifting a foot. Clips have a fixed position, and flats enable different. Missing the right position, like standing on heels or toes, makes it hard to control bumps. Flats enable lifting foot faster than clips.
not the same, the amount of control and feel you get with a clipless pedal is very different, I'm always switching back and forth but flats have a very dead feeling in comparison... whatever you choose I guess
Flats = riding better
