Pinkbike Announces 'Trailforks'
EastCoastDHer not sure what that has to do with illegal trails since it seems she was hurt on a legal one but anywho... In my area if the only trails you rode were the legal ones you would get bored really really fast.

Ya china peak was good. Stage 1 was a bit flat tho.. and stage 3 was good except for the middle. If you could link the top and bottom of stage 3 without the flat up middle section that would be an awesome stage. I did wonder why we didnt use the trail that goes under the main lift near the top that looked super fun. And last year i heard it was used.

If i had the time and financial support to put on such events i would model them with the idea of technical skill and riding ability being the reason that wins a 'downhill' style race. With fitness being key in the sense that if one was unfit they would struggle to complete the transfer stages and would have a tough time negotiating the technical downhill timed stages because of fatigue. With the races we have had this year they have all been won on, lets be honest, fitness with technical riding ability far less important than it should be. In other words, pedal to the top then go down some gnarly shit. And the more stages the better, so when at a bike park venue have a balance between pedal and lift up transfers for maximum racing stages!
