Pinkbike Poll: Who Introduced You to Mountain Biking?
Drop in. I remember waking up a half hour earlier then i had to when i was a kid just so i could watch that show. the first three seasons got me into mountain biking, although i didn't actually get a proper dh bike til many years later.

it is and it isn't. Carbon is extremely strong and will take impacts, its the amount of time after an impact that it will fail. Carbon almost never breaks on contact in a crash, it usually fails down the line when too much stress is put on that one area. So where as a aluminum bar will bend, a carbon one will snap. That being said, it always takes way more force to break carbon then bend aluminum. Double edged sword.
