Don't talk to me about that dog on the track at Hamsterley. I was the one that hit the bloody thing, costing me a podium spot. :-@

Time for my trusty 909 to move on to a new home. It's 6 months old and has only done 360 miles. Everything works perfectly and it's one fast and fun bike to ride. There are cosmetic scratches, as you'd expect on a used bike but no dents, dings or cracks. The rear wheel is slightly out of true, despite my LBS's best efforts but doesn't affect the ride. The whole Whyte 900 Series (901, 905 and 909) of hardtails has had numerous 10/10 reviews from major publications (WMB, MBUK, MBR). The 909 is the top end model with the same frame and geometry, other than the addition of adjustable length chain stays. I've raced XC and Gravity Enduros on this, so it is more than capable of all riding and racing. These are £2300 new, but I've added a 125mm travel Rockshox Reverb Stealth and changed the chain ring to a 34t. It's also set up tubeless. It's a very well equipped bike with full X01, a Fox Float 32 fork with FIT damper, XT brakes and a Hope Pro 2 rear hub. Weight comes in at 26lb. Full spec: Frame: Large, 6061 Hydro Formed T6 Aluminium, Custom Drawn and Multi Butted, Tapered Headtube and Whyte's adjustable dropout system Fork: Fox 32 Performance, CTD FIT, 27.5" 130mm Travel, Tapered Steerer and 15QR Headset: FSA Orbit ZS, Sealed Cartridge Bearings, 1.5" Lower, 1 1.8" Upper Bearings Rear Hub: Hope EVO Disc, 11 Speed, 32 Hole, 135mm, Shimano XT QR Front Hub: Alloy, Double Sealed Cartridge Bearing Hub Hub 15mm, 32 Hole Spokes: WTB 15 gauge Black Sandvik Stainless with Brass Nipples Rims: WTB STi 19 TCS 650b Tubeless ready rims, 32 Hole Tyres Maxxis Ardent 2.25, Folding Bead Front, WTB Beeline TCS 27.5" x 2.25", 60TPI Dual Compound, Folding Bead, Rear- Both run tubeless Shifters: SRAM X01, 11 Speed Rear Mech: SRAM X01, Type 2 medium cage, 11 Speed Cassette: SRAM XG-1195, 10-42, 11 Speed Chain: SRAM PCXX1, 11 Speed Crankset: SRAM X01, GXP, 34t, 11 Speed BB: SRAM GXP Seatpost: Rockshox Reverb Stealth 125mm Drop, 420x30.9mm, right hand lever mounted under bar on left with Sugru grip Saddle: WTB Silverado Bar: Whyte Custom 2014 Alloy, Low Rise, 750mm Wide Stem: Whyte Gravity Stem 70mm Grips: ODI Troy Lee Lock On Brakes: Shimano XT, 200mm front and 160mm rear More info here: http://whyte.bike/2013/product.php?xProd=101&xSec=115&jssCart=87cb787ec3fd2302e0b65f8d06ac9191 Delivery could be arranged, but at the buyer's cost.
