Gary Fisher Superfly Carbon Hardtail with Formula R1 Brakes

$2000 USD
Up for sale is a 2010 Gary Fisher Superfly full carbon fiber hardtail ridden easily by a 50 year old guy. I bought this bike a year ago, slightly used with intentions of riding more trails. After a year of 5 minute drive way bike rides it’s time to let it go. Everything on the bike works perfectly and there are no issues that I am aware of. All the components are top quality with minimum use, the bike is extremely light. Bike has carbon handle bars, lock on grips, and KMC chain. The down tube of the frame has 3M paint protection film on it so the frame is pretty much spotless. The chain stay has a lizard skin protector on it. Fork: Fox F29 FIT/RLC. Slight cable rub on the top fork crown, sanctions are clean, seals are clean and not leaking. Wheels: American Classic 29 Tubeless. Running tubes now and wrapped with Maxxis tires that still have great tread. Wheel bearing are super smooth and wheels are true. Crank: Sram XX Truvativ X-Glide. Super smooth 2 ring crank, one of the lightest on the market. The chain rings show minimum signs of wear and still have a lot of life left in them. Brakes: Formula R1. These are some of the lightest and best performing brakes money can buy. Recently installed new pads (front and rear). Rear Derailleur: Sram XO, great shifting every time Front Derailleur: Sram XX, Fast shifting every time Rear Shifter: Sram XO, works perfect Front shifter: Sram XX, works perfect Cassette: not sure what it is, Sram 1099 or 1070. Teeth are in great shape and still have a ton of life left. If you have any questions or want specific pictures shoot me an email and ill respond quickly. Shipping is at the buyer’s expense. I have shipped a few bikes before and know how to package them correctly. Local pick up is available as well.

Giant Trance Advanced SL1 With I9 Wheels

$2500 USD
I have a 2011 Giant Trance Advanced SL1, size LARGE for sale. I bought the bike brand new 2 years ago and it has been a great bike. I'm 5’11” and the large fits well; I would say anyone from 5’9”-6’1” would be well fitted with the current set up. Could be a little shorter or taller if you replaced the stem/moved the seat forward. The bike is used, but in good condition. Most of the frame (down tube, cable rub areas) were coated with 3M paint protection film from day one. The chain stay is double wrapped with tape from day one as well. The frame is full carbon, making it really light for a 5" travel bike. The bike is a joy to ride everywhere from flat trails to technical single track. I switched the front fork for a Fox Talas RLC/FIT 150/130 adjustable travel. The adjustable travel is a great option to have. Also the fork has air, rebound, and lock-out controls. The rear shock is a Fox RC2 which soaks up things really well while also allowing for efficient pedaling with the addition of Pro Pedal. I replaced all seals in the rear shock 2 weeks ago as routine maintenance. I have enduro seals for the front fork which have not been installed, the OEM seals are still in great condition with no leaking. The drive train is full Shimano SLX. I have ridden everything from Sram XX to Shimano XTR. The SLX is great shifting, forgiving, and really durable. The shifts are crisp and fast. Crank=SLX. F/R derailleur=SLX. Shifters=SLX. Chain= KMC gold. The brakes are Avid Elixir R and stop on a dime and have adjustable lever pull length. I recently replaced the rear pads and have a new set for the front which will need to be installed in the next 6 months. Wheels- last Christmas I put a set of Industry Nine wheels on the bike. The rims are Stan's Arch EX (can be run tubeless), laced to I9 XC hubs. The colors are red on red. These wheels are some of the lightest, most durable wheels on the market. They are about $1100 a set new. I have Kenda Excavator tires on them now which are getting worn, I will include a new set of Kenda Excavator tires if you want them. The wheels have some scratches but the bearings are smooth as silk and rear hub engagement is perfect. This has been my main mountain bike for the past 2 years. There are some scratches and small nicks here and there. Everything is in perfect working order and the bike rides super smooth. It has always been stored indoors and taken care of. Like I mentioned, most of the bike has paint protection film on it so it is pretty clean for a used bike. I also put the protection film on the crank arms and you can see it is coming off in the pictures. I'm asking $2500 for the bike with the Industry Nine wheels. The only issue that the bike has that I am aware of is a small clear coat surface lamination blemish. It is a small, narrow blemish that I had checked out by a local giant bike mechanic and they say is was just a slight error during the manufacturing drying process. I have ridden the bike hundreds of miles and it has remained the same, has not gotten bigger as expected with a lamination defect. I have included the best picture I could get of it, it is pretty small and unnoticeable unless you are really searching. The location is a below where the seat tube goes into the frame. Again, it is not a crack in the carbon composite but a shallow blemish where the clear coat / lamination did not mate properly. Chances are you would not find the blemish if I did not disclose it but I want to describe the bike in its current condition to avoid any issues. If you have any questions or want specific pictures shoot me an email and ill respond quickly. Shipping is at the buyer’s expense. I have the original box that the bike came in new this I will ship it in, local pick up is fine as well. http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-us/bikes/model/trance.x.advanced.sl.1/7322/44094/

Giant Trance Advanced SL1

$2500 USD
I've got a Large (fits 5'9"-6' pretty well, im 5'11") 2011 Giant Trance Advanced SL1 carbon composite bike that i'm thinking about selling. if you have never ridden a trance they are really awesome bikes and the Advanced SL1 takes it a step further. Combining 5' of fox suspension and the stability of the carbon frame this bike will get you down and up about any trail. the bike weights approx. 26-27LBS and could be build lighter with some I9's, XTR/X.O stuff. I've owned the bike since day one, in facts i still have the factory Giant shipping box. the only things i have changed on the bike are the grips (now they are peaty lock on) and the rear derailleur was XT (now its SLX). the XT rear derailleur started acting up and i needed one quickly so i had to buy from the one local store and all they had was a 10 speed SLX. The SLX stuff is really quality stuff. there are a few scratches on the front fork, and the lock out acts up sometimes. also, it has a fox float 32 with 120mm travel and they are notorious to have a "creaking" sound when the front break is applied hard. I asked the bike store and its a known issue and not much can be done about it short of a new top crown or a new fork. there is no issue with safety. Also when i got the bike i bought a role of "3M paint protection film" and put it all over the bike. its clear and prevents cable rub, chips, and scratches. i also lined the whole bottom of the bike with it so the under tube is spotless. the rear chain stay has been warped with tennis tape and electrical take since day one. Here's a link to giants web page on the bike: http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-us/bikes/model/trance.x.advanced.sl.1/7322/44094/ everything works well, tires are in good shape (WTB Velociraptor 2.1), i use good chain lube on the chain (chain-L), never ridden in super wet/muddy conditions. just a super fun all mountain bike. ill ship at your expense Ive shipped a few bikes before and its generally 100$ depending on location. if its more/less well work it out. Ive had the bike for about 6 months. currently the bike is in Boone NC, but i travel to Raleigh NC every 3 weeks. let me know if you have any questions or would like more pictures. thanks,
