Dirt Jumps on my hardtail

Hard-tail riding!I hit the local dirt-jump today. It was the first I did so and used a newly acquired Giant STP. I was actually impressed with the STP. I have been riding a full suspension and was actually impressed how well the STP carved and handled. This really made be rethink whether I truly need a full suspension bike. I could get a really high end hard tail for the much less money! Time will tell! Our local trails are not too technical and could be easily be ridden by a hard-tail. Apparently, riding a hard-tail is supposed to make one a better rider. I definitely used my body more. So much so that my back is a bit sore. Part of me thinks that this has to do with the fact that it was a single speed, but that is a different story.
