Orange Five AM 2012

$2750 GPB
Hi thank you for looking Pics will follow once i get home from work. I'm just getting a feel for the market as i'm considering selling my five am. its a 2012 model 18" frame in mandirin orange. with upgrades Sram pcg90 (i think) upgraded as the standard one you get from orange is steel and the freehub body is alloy so obv the cassette chews into the body anybody with half a brain would know this but orange don't seem to care about this, Nearly new Saint medium derailuer 9sp. Blackspire chain tensioner. Shimano XT ice tech brakes front and back and 203 Ice tech rotors pretty much brand new hand two or three rides but local rides where i do very little braking basically the pads are just bedded in now. SS razor stem gold, renthal fat bar brand new only just fitted it. SS grips starting to wear now had them for six months. just recently been serviced by a registered orange dealer had the forks and shocks done at the same time all in cost for the service was nearly 400 GBP. new cable for the saint rear mech when changed done at the same time as the service. there is hellitape everywhere its needed. the only area that doesn't look perfect is the back left of the rear swing arm where i didn't put helli tape to start with but soon noticed that my heel was catching the swing arm and scuffing it. there is a chain-stay protector made from an old inner tube done within the first week of owning the bike. I love this bike had so much fun on it over the last year and a bit so i will only sell if the price is right, the only reason for selling is i want a Nomad as it has to be the best bike i have ever ridden. I am open to offers but if you don't get a response then your offer isn't worth wasting my time replying too, thanks again for reading and will post up the pictures once i get home and have good access to the internet.

Lost a Yeti? Doncaster Police would like to know…

$123 GPB
If someone abominable has recently relieved you of a custom built Yeti 575 against your will, then Doncaster Police would like to know They’re in possession of a bike they believe has been stolen and they’re looking to reunite it with it’s owner. The bike is large frame size in a gloss black painted finish. According to the Police, it’s a “pretty fancy” spec, although they aren’t giving out full details for obvious reasons. If the bike sounds familiar and you’d like to be reunited with your cryptid beauty then get in touch with South Yorkshire Police and quote 267 13/08/2012.

"But, given the nature of scotland and the appetite for the sport... theres always plenty room for more." yeah most defo agree with this statement there could be so much more but the powers at be are dicks and wont invest in trails or other things like mechanical uplift. the realization that if they invest the money will come back, in one some way. i believe that it will be a long time before they take a proper interest in our sport and what it offers, i wish the wasn't the fact but....

one issue with this is you wont get any of the trails guys have built up on their own in the U.K. as the forestry commission destroy them if they deem them to dangerous. this is apparently to protect other users apparently but as i see if you ride it you take the risk and thats that.
