“Chomolungma” (the traditional Tibetan name of Mount Everest) stands 29,035 feet above sea level and is considered to be one of the ultimate physical challenges on Earth. The winners of the Chomolungma Challenge will descend the equivalent vertical elevation through the world class terrain of Snowshoe Bike Park’s Western Territory, where 1500 vertical feet per lap of fun and challenging terrain await.
Join Snowshoe Bike Park August 16 and 17 for the 3rd Annual Chomolungma Challenge at Snowshoe Bike Park. This year it’s gotten BIGGER and BETTER. This downhill endurance race tests your stamina as you compete in solo, duo team or quad team to descend the height of Mount Everest on Snowshoe Bike Park’s legendary Western Territory. Starting order is determined by the order in which participants register, first come first served. This event is expected to sell out. What’s at stake? Over $8,000 in cash and prizes. Register early as space is limited and will sell out quickly. Solo race on Saturday and Duo and Quad on Sunday ~ if you can't get enough DH racing on Saturday, why not sign up for BOTH?!

Spectators are welcome! If you are lodging with Snowshoe (booking via the resort website/call center), your lift pass is included in your lodging package with your fun pass. Otherwise you may purchase a pass at the Village Depot to get to the bottom of the Western Territory.
Arbuckles will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. selling a variety of food and drinks. (located at the base of the Western Lift)
Saturday & Sunday - Starbucks will be open at 6:30 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. & The Junction 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. (located in the Village)

• Camping can be found in Cass, at Whittaker Campgrounds, or Seneca State Forest. There is NO tent camping on the mountain.
