@weezyb: If you think its just one less person from a neighboring state that is some petty small-minded shit. If just a handful of large manufactures follow Patagonia on this, SLC is going to see a huge economic impact.

I have a pretty good idea. I've been working in the outdoor industry for most of my life, attending countless shows in Utah and also spending a ton of time on the road traveling the state with my bike. Utah is awesome, except for the politics and that has an impact on what the industry is going to do in the state in the future. I'm all for leaving to go somewhere that has a greater appreciation for OR and the outdoor industry.

Training: Time to Build the Base For Next Season

Thanks for the program Dee! It is designed for someone that races or rides pro, but I have still found a great benefit for me: it keeps me motivated to maintain (or improve upon) my level of health during the winter. I usually turn into a drinking, jolly, chubbier version of myself, but this year I'm aiming to remain fit all the while celebrating the holidays as per usual. Bring on 2017!

Richie Rude's Yeti SB6 Bike Check - EWS Round 5, Aspen-Snowmass

I saw Richie this spring at the top of a climb doing a photo shoot on a small feature and before I recognized him, I asked if he was "doing okay". I feel like an ass every time I think about it. He was much shorter than I thought, but jacked. Seemed like a really nice kid. They were hitting a tiny feature and going huge.
