To The Point - Chain Guides
I'm contemplating not getting one if I don't have to. It looks like they place more resistance on your pedalling. (Not much but it would add up over time if doing a long ride (I want a downhill bike, but I won't be using it JUST for downhill.) But I still want to be able to smash a DH track when I choose to go on a technical track. Though, if I do end up doing intense DH tracks frequently, how effectively do they keep the chain on?

Kona Process DL - Review
Not too bad... I don't reckon it looks the best but it sounds like a real performer. I'd take that thing for a jam. I'd even buy one if I had the money haha...

2014 Vivid R2C Shock - First Look
I've been looking at a Vivid Air/coil rear shock to put on my BigHit build. Now that the new one's come out (well, been announced) I'm really excited. Please tell me the whole "non-pro riders can't buy the shock" thing is a joke...

Using WD-40 to clean my brake pads and rotors because brakes do nothing but slow me down.

Hey man, I was just looking through my profile and realised that I must have bumped the block button.. So if you've tried to comment or contact me its all good now.. haha.. They really need to move that "block user" button somewhere else.. It's just too easy to bump without noticing where it is.. ............ How's the build coming along? I still reckon you should go with the RC boxxer because its only what about $100 dearer than the domains and is lighter and better than the domains. I know you want to get out and ride and upgrade later but you would get a better resale value on the boxxers than domains when you upgrade later. Just my two cents worth.. I understand that at the end of the day its your decision and I also understand what its like to be on a budget and wanting to get out and ride....

Kona Factory Team Australia - 2013 National Championships
Wow. Is this happening? A Kona thread where no is slagging of at their bikes. Personally, I like the Kona bikes, the Operators look awesome, both the carbon fibre and the aluminium versions. The Stinky is one that's kind of grown on me. I used to hate the Stinky's. Just based on how their rear linkage design looked with the bars that stick right out the back but now it doesn't really bother me. I really do like Kona, they're a good brand that's certainly getting better. (Not that they were that bad to begin with.)

I quite like these Commencal frames, aye. Very nice looking bikes, these are. What rear shock are you running? The forks look sick as.

Kona Carbon Operator
It's not DW. Trust me, I know. I got abused left right and centre for claiming that Maestro and DW were a similar design So I know most of the ins and outs of both haha... Though this bike is a linkage-driven single pivot system. Not the worst system but not the best either.
