RockShox's New Super Deluxe Shock - First Ride
from the article "I first rode the bike with a normal, 216 x 63mm Monarch Plus, which was then swapped out for the new, 230 x 65mm Super Deluxe, a change made possible by the use of a custom machined linkage. " as someone else mentions, they either had a linkage from the 2017 patrol, or rockshox / transition custom made a linkage for this demonstration.

Santa Cruz Superlight D-XC Size Small

$1500 USD
For sale is a used 2012 Santa Cruz Superlight with the D-XC build kit. I'm selling because I upgraded bikes and don't have room / use for a 2nd mountain bike. Bike is in perfect working order. Brakes stop strong, drivetrain shifts smoothly, and suspension moves through full 100 mm without catching. Frame has scuffs and marks to be expected from 1-2 years of use, but all marks are cosmetic; no dents or cracks. Fork travel can change from 80 - 100 - 120 if disassembled, but I've never attempted to change it from the stock 100mm. Grips were upgraded to matching Lizard Skin lock-on style and the 3rd chainring on the front was removed and replaced with a Raceface white bashgaurd; the 3rd ring can be included if you're interested. All other components are stock. Plastic shop pedals can be added if desired.
