That's not at all what people are getting at. I'm sure everyone here would want everyone else to have access to the wonderful world of bikes and the great outdoors. It's about social media and what its done to the land around us and the type of people it can bring. I am NOT talking about people looking to ride, im talking about people who disrupt the land. They speak about how beautiful and calm a place is, then turn around and shoot clay pigeons with a shotgun. It's not only littering straight into a prestine mountain lake, but making a huge racket and potentially upsetting the wildlife and people around. Yes, building trails can also disrupt the land, but that's why there's bike clubs that work hand and hand with municipalities and governments to make sure the trails built are sustainable and do as little damage as possible. There's also fewer and fewer hidden gems of land left due to social media. I've seen first hand how a beautiful secluded area that my family had been camping at for years has been overrun and filled with garbage that people don't take with them.
