Scott Big Ed Fat Bike Large

$1425 USD
2016 Scott Big Ed. Great fat bike with a Bluto Fork. Size large, SRAM X9, Shimano Hydraulic disk brakes, TRS crankset, 28 tooth front sprocket, rear cassette is Deore XTR with 12-42 with a one up big cog. Dropper post has a little play but works great otherwise. Carbon fiber wheels with DT spokes and I think Bitex hubs (not sure). Brand new 26 x 4.8 jumbo jim tires on the carbon wheelset, nice and light and fast rolling. Original wheels included with some basic Vee street tires. Everything works great. Please reach out to me with any questions. I just do not ride it anymore. $1425.00 obo Thank you for looking

Pinkbike Poll: Are You Satisfied With Your Brakes?
I have run Shimano brakes for years with no issues and was big fan. The 2019 Shimano XT on my current build brakes have been crap. I am on my 4th rear caliper. Cannot seam to get an XT two piston caliper that does not leak. Soon enough will make the switch to Magura MT7's.

Maxxis Updates Forekaster Tire for Downcountry - Eurobike 2022
The reviewers keep complaining about tire durability, hence we keep getting heavier and heavier tires. Probably great for out West with long grinding climbs and long rocky/sharp rocked descents. Some of us ride in New England with near vertical short climbs and short steep down hill sections. say 200yds each way, accelerating heavy tires on our trails is tough. Perhaps some reviews from folks who don't ride in the desert or lift access all the time.

First Ride: Goodyear Newton MTF & MTR Tires
I rode the original versions on a demo bike at Kingdom Trails. The heaviest tires I have ever felt on a bike. Literally slowing down going down hill! Steep punchy climbs with almost 7lbs of anchors (sorry tires) on the rims was tough. I guess these are for the gravity crowd or absolute monsters only.

SRAM & Fox End 6 Year Chainring & Axle Legal Battle
You beat me to the quote. Lawyers sucked every dollar they could from both companies then decided it was too much
