Is This GT's New DH Bike?
"Is This GT's New DH Bike?" Yes! "The first obvious thing that stands out to me is the downward angle of the shock" Pretty sure it stands out to everyone! "Those of you with a keen eye may have spotted the missing linkage" You don't need a keen eye to be able to pick up on this. This post sounds like it was written by a 12 year old for 12 year olds. Its almost as if it was written so fast and without very much thought just to beat other websites to do it even thou VitalMTB has so snippets of it last week and you could tell from Wyns dodgy instagram artwork the shock was in a different position and the legate was gone.

Quarq ShockWiz - First Impressions
Does no one here have friends ? just all chip in and buy one together making it cheaper and its only an aid so after you have all used it write your settings down and you'll not have to use it again until you buy a different fork or shock.

Is Santa Cruz Developing a Long-Travel 29er?
Im hoping most people don't have the memory of a gold fish but if you watch and listen to any clip Pinkbike or Vital posted over the last WC season Minnaar used this very same Linkage with only 1 travel setting and so did some of the others on the Syndicate team. As for 29" can we just not bother with that crap, it took decades to get people to switch to 27.5" and it seems 29" is trying to surpass it within a couple of years, what next 28.75" wheel ?

Pinkbike Poll: Fashion or Function?
I think the picture and components are not doing this frame justice, The bike looks like it has been shot slightly higher that most side of shots and thats squished the look of it a little, and I understand they're making it all about the frame but if the bike was pictured with better looking wheels, tyres, forks and cranks with some decals not to many (As todays marketing is horrible on some products) it would soften the look of the frame overall, also if you throw a coil shock on there or something that doesn't have gold on it I think that would help. Its going to be interesting to see how it rides but I'm guessing its going to be great, people these days just prefer a trophy whore while they are out and about so they can show off but behind close doors it gives them nothing in return just a hard time.

I only recently sold mine, red with a fresh sticker kit and intense M1 rocker which took ages to find instead of the flimsy single plates they used ion these. My dream was to make the same bike as Minnaar rode to the world champs in 2003 only to find out the team bikes were completely different...... Team frames were intense m1 front triangles with Uzzi dh seat tower one came up for sale over here in Australia last year Mick Hannahs old one and it only sold for 250 quid. Only a hand full made for mick and greg... good luck with the build can't wait to see it
