if you watched the previous video it explained that they built this section to get over the wee uphill that they would have to bring the track through so it makes perfect sense to have a high speed step up

its council owned land.there are signposts around that say no biking and it is well known that we are not allowed to be riding there.the area is for walkers

In wellington where the trail in question is the council has a very positive view on mountain biking even spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on the trail networks.The trail in this video is in practically the one spot that we are not legally allowed to ride in wellington so it is being pretty ungrateful to abuse the council by riding there whilst it is well known that we are not allowed to ride there.It has gotten to the point now where other non mountain biking users of this area are regular complaining to the council and the council is going to start trespassing people who ride there.I am aware of these trails as my job means that i regularly talk with the head ranger and head of parks and tracks councilor as well as attending mountain bike club meetings where this subject has been brought up

Hey man you should take this video down.Those trails are illegal and people riding them is putting a bad name on mountainbikers

also he does have a break on his bike,its normal to run just a back break. makes tricks easier and gives the bike a better feel

if you don't ride slope style/dirt jumps then thats probably why it didn't get you stoked to ride.I primarily race downhill but do a small bit of dirt jumping on the side,even though i struggle to do any tricks this video instantly makes me forget about down hill and instead makes me want to go hit some djs
