Kranked Electric's EGO 45mph Santa Cruz Tallboy LTC - Sea Otter Classic 2014
For the DH crowd, it means no more pushing. A friend of mine was pretty hot on a company around here that mod'ed Santa Cruz as well and even went so far as to take one for a test ride. I declined-it feels like cheating. I'm also curios what the land managers think. If you can ride this, can you ride a Zero motorcycle?

Results: Sea Otter Classic 2014 - Avid Dual Slalom
When Sea Otter started, it was kind of a warm-up to the season. So impressed to see what it's become and especially to see so many making the choice to come to Sea Otter. Pretty cool if you ask me.

I'm not sure what the ownership issues are at the POJ. I'm guessing because there's a developer involved, it's private and for it to be saved, someone would need to buy out the developer. As I say, I don't really know what the situation is. I hope it works out in favor of the jumps tho. I think they're a positive thing for the community.

It's a possibility. They're supposed to build some kind of "village" on the site. It's been that way for a few years but nothing has happened. I would blame that on the economy. However, as the economy picks up, you might see the desire to build increase-there's been other new construction in the area which could drive that project too.

I'm thinking water wouldn't be a big deal. Cable housing goes through it. Even then, just lift it up and let it drain once and a while-or give it a blast of compressed air.
