MUST SELL-Giant Trance X2 HIGHLY UPGRADED

$1600 USD
Hey Pinkbike! I am regrettably selling my size Medium Giant Trance X2 from 2008 so I can afford a Nikon D4 for my photography passion/hobby. Make me a reasonable offer! This is a bike which I used, toiled over and worked on for several years. I never used it much, 10 or so times tops due to personal injury and schedule conflicts (not bike related injury). This bike is nowhere near stock and rides nothing like the bike that came from the factory. I am not the bike's original owner but have had the pleasure of owning it for 4 years. I did a lot of work to this bike, work and upgrades which I think justify the price. I did all of it myself with some guidance from the guys at Big Tree Bikes-I learned bike maintenance on this bike and I am a stickler for detail and perfection. Everything I did, I did my best to do it right. This bike is a lot of fun to ride. She is light for a full suspension bike made of aluminum, attributable to the efficient suspension system and incredible Giant alloy-contrary to the preconceptions of some, Giant bikes are not just available in the flavor you find in Target, but due to being the largest bike manufacturer on the planet they have a lot of money for R&D. Needless to say, it shows. The Maestro 5.0 suspension in the rear offers almost zero pedal bob (rare), a vertical rear wheel path (very rare) and efficient power transfer compared to other bikes. Add to that the $500 2016 Fox Float DPS Kashima Coat Rear shock and this bike is one heck of a flexible ride. It varies from hardtail to XC and flowy trail shred master. It even handles steeper more aggressive terrain remarkably well, attributable to the wider that stock handlebars and shortened stem that has been added. This being said, there is wear on the chainstay and a few other locations. She looks a bit used but well loved. She works wonderfully and doesn't look bad at all. You have to be up close to notice most of the wear. Because the upgrade list is extensive, here it is in bullet form with explanations/new price for each. I bought the bike for $900 off a PinkBike listing. Upgrades: -shortened handlebar stem (makes the bike more maneuverable $10 in a used bin) -Torsion 2014 alloy uncut handlebars (very wide, nice and stable $15 in a used bin) -Upgraded seat ($10) -new handlebar grips ($20) -new front brake rotor ($50) -new rear brake rotor ($50) -all new component attachment bolts (stainless, won't rust ever again, $15 in hardware) -new 11 tooth ring on the rear cassette (freebie) -EThirteen LG1 Chainguide (never lose the chain again, $100 or so new) -EThirteen 36 tooth guide ring (even more lost chain protection, $25) -new hydraulic front brake (cheaper Shimano $75) -new hydraulic rear brake (Shimano Deore $100) -new seat post lock (also a freebie, thanks Big Tree) -now rocking a 2012 RockShox Revelation Dual Air front fork with U-Turn option to lower travel from 150mm to 120mm that is in perfect working order and recently rebuilt (came with the bike when I bought it, needless to say expensive) -DT Swiss 20mm Thru Axle Front hub (don't know the cost, came with the bike, but these are quite expensive) -2016 Fox Float DPS Kashima Coat rear shock (three position, top of the line with only a few hours of riding on it, $500) -Maxxis Ardent tires front and rear ($50 ea. - tread in like new condition) -Custom Jagwire Derailleur Kit in Carbon/Black (perfectly engineered cable lengths, $25) -All new frame bearings (rides smooth as all getout now, $60) -Magnesium Alloy pedals ($60) -New tubes (one has a few patches in it from a ride over some exceptionally thorny bushes, $10) -New bottom bracket ($40) That's a lot of stuff. About $1260 in upgrades, so essentially you get my labor (days worth) and $560 in stuff, FREE. I spent a lof of my time working on this bike. I did the bearing replacements, the custom cut and bled brake lines, the custom derailleur cables, installed the shock, buffed the paint on the front fork, cleaned everything, disassembled the entire bike to grease every joint, repainted the front hub with enamel paint, rebuilt the fork, rebuilt the shifter, installed bottom bracket and chain guide, replaced the bolts, pedals etc. and lovingly spent hours removing dirt from nicks and crannies on the frame so it looked as good as I could make it. Thanks a bunch for checking this listing, contact me with any questions! Make me an offer. No major lowballs please.

FOX FLOAT R

$50 USD
I have 2008 or 2009 Fox Float R off of a Giant Trance. Dimensions are 7.25 x 1.75, and if your length is shorter Fox can add spacers to shorten it slightly. The shock was serviced and has only been ridden for ~10 hours since. The coating is in PERFECT condition, the canister has some damage to the stickers. The shock rides great, I am just looking to buy something with more adjustability and need the cash from this.

DT Swiss 340 20mm Hub/WTB Laser Disk Rim Front

$100 USD
An awesome DT Swiss 340 20mm thru-axle hub with a WTB Laser Disk rim-small bit of damage to the side of the rim, black coating scraped. This is a front wheel. The spokes are silver. If you have a 20mm thru-axle front wheel and are looking to trade I would like one with black spokes. Thats is my reason for selling/trading this wheel/hub-my back wheel has black spokes and it will cost me $170 to re-build the wheel professionally.

Scott Aspect 940 Hardtail 29er

$500 USD
This bike is in great shape. I have only taken it on three trail rides, the rest round my neighborhood. This bike tears up the climbs, rips down and blazes flats. The fork has some scratches on it-all from transport to the trial, not the ride itself. (My rack sucks) I am transitioning out of this bike because I am looking at getting a full suspension bike for downhill. I recently put $116 into new tires for the bike and it comes with the old tires too. The new tires have never even been taken on a ride. I am throwing an extra tube in as well. Depending on what was offered, I would consider a bike related trade. Feel free to contact me. Full bike specs listed below: Frame: Scott Aspect 940 stock frame size M Front Fork: Suntour XCM with 4in travel Front Derailleur: Shimano Altus Rear Derailleur: Acera Gearing: 3x9 (27 total) Crank: Shimano Omega Pedals: Stock (I can throw some better ones on there that are used) Tires: CSTTires Rock Hawk (29x2.40 front) (29x2.25 rear) Wheels: Syncros 29in Breaks: Shimano (BR-BL-M395) (hydraulic)
