Aug 22, 2023Ibis DV9 Large
$1550 GBPWell used and much loved Ibis DV9
This thing is a wild fun, yet efficient bike. I have a slack set fitted bringing the head angle to tide greens with a 120mm Manitou Matoc fork which makes for a lot of fun on the down.
A great trail Xc bike. For someone who needs xc to not get fat but hate xc coming from a do and enduro background, if this sounds like you this just may be the bike for you.
Overall good condition, wants for a new bottom bracket. Couple of frame scuffs and a paint chip near the head tube.
All the important / firing line parts of the frame have been helitaped
Has a wicked set of syntactic supper slammed stem and flat bar (bars are at 750/780 because never go full xc)
Spec
Large DV9 Carbon Frame
Manitou Matoc Fork
XX1 Cranks
X0 shifter
GX Mech
KS 150mm Dropper
WTB Saddle
Syntace stem
Syntace bars
Magyar Trail Brakes (4pot front 2pot rear)
Conti race king rear tyre
Conti cross king front tyre
DTswiss XM418 wheels
All in all a super impressive bike. And super rare

Aug 22, 2023Price Drop - Canyon Grand Canyon: ON 9 Medium
$2200 GBPBought for my wife but she hasn’t taken to it. Only done 430km (250 miles ish) in 2 years.
Size:
Medium, My wife is 5ft6in and we went medium as it is the 29 wheel and bigger battery capacity than the small, and fitted a 35mm stem on it.
Would comfortably fit up to 5ft11in with a 60 stem I feel.
Condition:
Overall great condition, a few frame scuffs and one scratch on the seat stay, I have opted not to touch this up or paint it in to be fully transparent on the sale, something has fallen against it in the shed.

Chain Shimano M6100

Fork Fox 34 Rhythm GRIP, 120mm travel

Seatpost Canyon Iridium
Shifter Shimano Deore M6100
Stem FSA Comet 35
Tyres Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance 29x2.6in
Wheels Canyon Iridium 30
Overall i have been really impressed with the bike, and if it wasn’t for the size I would be keeping it for myself. It has changed my opinion on E-bikes.
Worth noting this is not just great as far as E-bikes go, It is a great hard tail non the less. And Turbo mode is a whole lot of fun.
Can ship, but bear in mind E-bikes do cost to ship. I would much prefer pick up or can deliver within a sensible distance.

Jan 31, 2021Transition smuggler XL (price drop)
$1550 GBPFor sale my transition smuggler
This has been an incredible bike and super capable for weekend blasts or all day epics. I just don’t have time for it at the minute.
2018 XL frame
Rockshock revelation fork
Finn full on bar and stem uncut at 785mm wide
Sram NX 11 speed drive train with many many miles left in it
Race face affect crankset
Trp g spec DH brake set (180rr, 203fr,)
Race face dropper post
Wtb wheels 31mm wide rim
All in all a solid build built to last and take a beating.
The smuggler was once heralded the perfect uk trail bike and I have to say I agree.
Fast when you point it down
Efficient when you point it up
For size reference I’m 6,1 and it fits great, I feel sat in the bike rather than on top, never to stretched out on the ups and never struggle to get over the back on the downs.

Video: In-Depth Analysis of Flat Pedal Efficiency with the Strength Factory
@MTB-Strength-Factory, would be interested to do again the opposite way. With a dedicated clips rider moving to flats for a similar test. I think with you being flat orientated there may be less of a difference than if you where clip orientated. I ride clip and also pull up as well as push down. Especially when sprinting. Something you can’t do when on flats.
I’m short flat orientated moving to clips may not make huge differences due to riding style, however clip riders loosing the ability to pull up would (in theory) make a huge differance?
