Big Mountain Monday with James Doerfling - Episode 2

It’s been said before, but I’ll say it again: this is big mountain skiing/boarding, but on a bike. That exposed, steep entrance shot on the drone really made me think I was watching a skier - which says a lot about how smooth Doerfling’s riding is.

MasterSlater, tinfoil: I 100% agree with you. The number of people who are able to sit there and upvote/downvote in spite of any logic/reason is almost as astonishing as Pinkbike allowing that comment to be published in the first place.

You’re right, dropoffsticks. This is ‘just an article about something that makes your gear smell less like sh*t’, but it’s exactly in such a mundane article that you should expect to see simple, unprejudiced writing. Try and think of this discussion not as an attempt to blow up a huge ‘feminist issue’; rather, think about how easy it would have been for Levy to have written correctly ‘partner’ or whatever rather than ‘wives and girlfriends’. Mountain biking’s supposed to be friendly. I don’t understand how the people on this website, even if being men in the vast majority, can so easily dismiss a mistake which could only help to make women feel more excluded.
