It would appear the rain in Spain doesn't only fall on the plain. Unfortunately several of the days that we spent in Barcelona were spent finding alternative places to ride while a storm hung over the city. Luckily the friendly locals at La Poma Bike Park told us about an indoor place called Green Park with a skatepark, foam pit and mini 4x track.
Despite Barcelona's many great dirt jump spots the rain encouraged some diversity in the riding and a chance to let loose. Besides the damp spell, Matt had plenty of sunny days to spend trying out new tricks in the huge foam pit at La Poma and once the wind dropped in the evenings, the dirt jumps sessions kicked off.
La Poma gold.

To see all different ages of dirt jumpers encouraged by each other equally even with world-class riders amongst them and for us to be so easily welcomed to session with them made for an enjoyable stay. With out a doubt Barcelona with be a regular trip for Matt Jones, not just for the quality of so many riding spots but also the hospitality of the likes of La Poma Bike Park, Green Park and of course CP Gang.
