Cracking riding but sound track sounds like a 90s American softcore porn movie............................. Suits Jono down to the ground :-)

As its pretty much an ad for TLD, you can't blame them for including slo mo. When done right it can be used for highlighting the kit that Jono is wearing, nothing wrong with that! Wicked video accompanied with even better riding!

"including?" I think it goes much further than that, with nearly half slo mo. ttthhhhaaattt'sss aaa bbbbiiitttit mmmuuuccchhh iiinnn mmmyyy ooopppiiinnniiiooonnn

Not to mention the fact that it goes with the music pretty well, and if Jono wanted an edit of him charging something he'd probably make one that way.

Wait no glasses or goggles with that mud? Guess TLD doesn't have any in their catalog... but eye traumas can be pretty annoying you know.

not sure what's your point. it's the UK, evans sells plenty of glasses as far as I recall.

@barneyblitz - mud in the eyes going into a corner isnt so fun....

i came about 2 cm. from slicing open my eyeball on roots cuz i thought goggles were lame, cut my face to the skull instead, 2 black eyes and all the skin shredded off my nose. calling people out for rocking protective gear is for squids, doesn't matter what you wear if you shred

I must not be riding hard enough because with my shorty mud guard, same one as Jono uses here, I rarely get any mud fling into my face. I guess I need to hit Mach 1 first. :-)
  • 1 0
I was gonna say these new mudguards must be for keeping mud off your down tube or something but I guess his face would be brown all over if they didn't work at all. Makes me miss puddle jumping. Fuck summer.

damn,I really wanna grab my bike and go for it after watching this

Good riding, but the late night 90s TV music was a bit odd. Sounds like some incidental muzack from Nash Bridges or LA Law!

Hahaha yeah i thought of like miami vice or something like that, good edit tho.

Greasy corners are one of the best things about fall.

 Some flat out slomo!

and he didn't even need goggles for all that enduro-ing he was doing. Nice video!

This vid is boring ... JJ should choose better music
  • 1 3
The riding in that vid really was awesome, but as much as I hate to be negative, or care about production in videos, the music literally ruined it for me. Everything that got me hyped about the riding was sorta numbed by the fact that throughout the whole video I felt like I was on hold while calling the bank. DnB, Metal, Dubstep, Punk, even bloody pop music woulda been better. Anything a bit upbeat. This music woulda suited a nice relaxed ride on a recumbant or something, but not smashing corners in the wet on a mountainbike.

Ya know there's this thing called a volume slider, just mute the damn thing and get on with your life.

or just close the video and watch one with better music...

I'm not one for commenting on the videos, but I liked that, lovely style, nice natural n' flowy.

I feel like I'm watching a Michael Bay movie. Few too many close ups. Still a sick video.

wow, how does someone have so much confidence in their tyres
  • 4 0
Because of all that TLD stuff obviously! Can't you see the connection?
  • 1 0
True say, I should of known
  • 1 0
no, it's just a lot safer in slo mo

Filming is sick, was this shot with a Sony FS700 ?
  • 1 1
I'm guessing there was a Movi rig being used in those later shots towards the end there. You can tell it's on an electric gimbal rather than a standard glidecam as it stays DEAD level. From the look of a photo I saw on the dreaded Facebook he's shooting with a Red Epic. Hollywood sh*t right there. He must have won the lottery or robbed a bank :-)

Wow it's a crazy budget for a video like this! A Big budget for a small aspect format, but quality.. .Smile
