yes nice edit! that's how you do slow motion - just a bit, not too much

Thought it was going to show some new TLD gear guess not. Maybe 2015 could make the sprint pants a little looser and black flo/yellow color way?

I'm trying to plan a trip to Whistler and I was thinking of going the week before Crankworx... which is the first week of August. The trails look awful in this edit... when should I go?? I wanna ride the top sections too.

thats when i went and its the most fun ive ever had! trails may not be perfect but theyre still ridiculously good man

GOGRANDE , at which point do these trails look awful ?

It was a very dry summer so most of July and August had similar trail conditions. June can be rainy and by August the crew is working hard to stay ahead of the increased wear & tear on the trails. If you're going for more than just riding then the first week of August is good - keep in mind that leading up to Crankworx there's lots of training and prep going on so some areas are closed. If it's all about the riding then I think the second week of September is tough to beat: kids back in school, temps a little cooler but still nice, little more moisture, cheaper hotels and less people.

If you want prime conditions in the bike park, go in late September after the rain has returned and Crankworx trail carnage is long repaired.

By "awful" - I mean the conditions looked bad. Saw a few holes in berms and lots and lots of dust and sand. Super loose.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've been told a few times now that 1st and 2nd week of September is the sweet spot. I'll see what I can do but hard to pass up getting to watch the worlds sickest mountain bike competition. I'm trying to get the most out of the trip as possible. We will see.

I have never been in september and I imagine it would be great, but I went in the middle of june for the first time and it was way better than july or august.. trails are in good shape, less people, barely any lift line, really good weather the whole time

any day is a good day at the wbp.

if ya wanna get serious laps in, june or sept is the time.

before the kids get outta school or after they go back, but extended play and garbo are still rockin.

how many more sleeps until it opens?

braaaaaaaaaaaaap.

Go before crankworks. All the racers create big holes on the popular trails. If youre going after crankworks, wait atleast a couple weeks for them to fix em up. Either that or do 100 pushups every morning lol

He rides goofy foot (right foot forward). Always makes me curious if a course has more turns to the dominant foot side of a rider, if it hampers their times.
