This carrier is configured of a base 2-bike unit (Sportworks 253120D) with add-on 3rd/4th bike units (Sportworks 253102A and 253202A) for a total capacity of 4 bikes. It was assembled and used as a full 4-bike carrier (as shown), however, the add-on(s) can be removed at any time to result in a 3-bike or 2-bike configuration. The rights to build and sell this carrier were sold to Thule and the closest copy available today is the Thule T2. While the Thule design is essentially the same as the original Sportworks in terms of form and function, there have been changes to reduce materials, weight, and cost, and the new Thule is now structurally weaker than the original. This is still the easiest bicycle carrier to load and unload (just seconds per bike) and this is likely the most robust and protective carrier ever built. If you don't want to fuss with straps and adapter bars, and you don't like to beat up your bikes or your vehicle, you will appreciate this carrier. It is the mother of all quick-load platform-style carriers and it is strong. This carrier has been well cared for and respected. You won't be disappointed in the condition. It was used only once or twice. It has been kept inside and there are very few marks anywhere on it. It is truly "like new." The original packaging has been retained. It has now been disassembled, repackaged, and is ready for shipment. I will ship per your preferred method (tracked and insured) or I am willing to deliver within a day's drive of northeast Ohio.
