Large Specialized Enduro Expert/S-Works Mech Owned

$2200 USD
Large Specialized Enduro Carbon 29er. I was a professional bike mechanic for 10yrs, and this bike has ran perfect since the day I had it new. It is mechanically perfect condition with many upgrades including: 29" Carbon Roval wheels (not the narrower SL versions)--asking price gets the almost new aluminum stock wheels included. I replaced all the suspension bearings last year, and I regreased them this Spring. New headset bearings recently. Upgraded XX1 11spd system- cassette and chain replaced last year and the chain measure barely a 1/4" stretch right now. (1/2" recommended replacement), Absolute Black brand 30t oval front chainring. Upgraded Wheels Manufacturing bottom bracket. Carbon SRAM cranks. Carbon 800mm Chromag bars and 50mm Anvil stem. Upgraded Sram guide RSC brakes. 200mm rotors F/R. I rebuilt the rear caliper and both the levers with the upgraded plungers this Spring. They feel brand new. Pads are new in the back and I'll throw in a brand new set for you too. Pike 160mm fork with upgraded charger damper. One extra token is in there for my 190lb weight. I will include a few extra tokens if needed. Upgraded Cane Creek DB Air with the climb switch. A very plush air sprung shock when dialed in. I will include the stock inline shock that it came with it which I would use when I had the shock serviced. One up 200mm dropper post. New seat just installed. Solid, zero issue post. Love these droppers. Almost new Specialized Butcher and Eliminator. Set up tubeless. I am selling because I bought a new Stumpy Evo. I was surprised how similar both these bikes actually ride. Yes it isn't the most modern geo, but this bike when it came out set the standard for the long travel, low and slack style that is very close and comparible to what's offered today. I will professionally box the bike and can ship for you if needed. Feel free to ask any questions.

57cm Axeman Full Carbon Road Bike-300miles

$1000 USD
Axeman 57-58cm carbon road bike. Condition is "Used", but more or less still new. Axeman is a boutique Carbon Frame and bike manufacturing company in Taiwan where many of the industry's source their own Carbon bike frames. Their "R2" model frame was their road racing geometry. I was a professional mechanic for ten years. I built this bike up about 10yrs ago using an Ultegra 10 "Ice Silver" gruppo. I had the Token full carbon bars, put a new set of FSA wheels on it and maybe rode the thing 300miles. I started Mtn Biking locally around that time and this more or less stayed hanging in my garage not being ridden. I spent about $2500 building it up and this was mostly at my discounted cost. Front chainring size 50/34, rear cassette is a 12-27. Again, everything is more or less brand new. It rides sweet. I typically ride a 58-60cm road bike and am 6'1", 185lbs. My inseam is 34". I would say anyone between 5-6" and 6"-0" this bike would fit perfectly. It weighs approximately 15lbs or about 7KG's. I can box it professionally. Actual shipping costs not included in price. Please msg if for any questions.

14' Transition TR450 Sz Lg. Ridden Three Times!

$1400 USD
2014 Transition TR450 26" Sz large. Rockshox Boxxer WC Fork, Rockshox Vivid RC Coil rear. Easton Havoc Carbon 35mm/800mm wide bars. Zee Brakes 200mm F/R, Zee Crank and rear derailleur. Chris King Headset. Shimano threaded BB. Easton Havoc Wheel set with Magic Mary front tire, Hans Dampf rear tire. I was a professional bicycle mechanic for 10yrs. I built this bike up 4yrs ago and literally rode it three times since. Yes, I mean only THREE times! It is literally brand new. I spent probably close to $3000 and I bought most of the parts at cost. However, I'm 50 and I just don't DH anymore after a few pretty major bike injuries the past 3.5yrs (not on this bike). I just don't ride it. Huge loss for me, but if you're looking for a sweet, modern geo DH bike this is it. It rails. I can professionally box the bike up. Shipping probably around $100-125 in US. NEW PRICE!! This bike is practically brand new and rides sick!!

Tech Talks: Fixing Sticky Pistons, Presented by Park Tool – Video
Inboard. SRAM Guide owners: the caliper rebuild piston job is a PITA; however, dirty pistons are also the issue for returning the pads correctly (all piston hydraulic caliper brands will suffer this). Calvin is the MAN! This string tip is solid. I've always used Q-tips and alcohol with limited success. Lots of 'tarter' build up on mine and the dragging brake issues gone! And I also see my inboard pistons sticking more. Thanks PB for these vids!

Cane Creek's New C-Quent Shock Explained
I hope CC is reading every post-and listening. I was totally shocked (pun intended) that I couldn't "service" my inline after their recommended 100hrs in the saddle. I was a pro mechanic for 10yrs and I always am comfortable maintaining my own bikes. For CC to ask the consumer to pay the $150-$200 every 12-18 months is plain robbery and insulting to the people that ride their shocks. CC, maybe you should consider charging a smaller fee for your service? I guarantee if you could work on this you would have far better reviews than what I hope you are reading right now.
