In 2010 the festival was attended by over 15 thousand visitors who watched American rider Aaron Gwin take the win. The festival is being held for the 14th time and riders can win 5 thousand Euros in prize money.

Last year results:

1. Gwin Aaron
2. Minnaar Greg
3. Neethling Andrew

The course will be on the official UCI World Cup Downhill track that has been used for the last four years. Course designer Diddie Schneider made some minor changes so that amateur riders can ride the course without risking serious accidents.

Race mode:

- Qualifying: the 64 fastest riders get qualified for the semi final
- Semi final: The fastest rider (1) will ride against the slowest qualifier (64) and so on. The 32 fastest riders + 8 lucky losers qualify for the final.
- Final: The top 40 ride for the first place and a prize money of 5000 EUR!

The organisers of that event are f&*ked. All the world cup guys are only a few hours away in Leogang Austria for the world cup race.Whey would they do this event on the same weekend? For 5000 euros I am sure almost all the world cup guys would have done this race NEXT WEEKEND since they are already in the same part of Europe. The whole field is stacked with Germans(no offence guys).I am no mastermind but I predict German domination at this event.

  • 1 1
Chocolate gives you energy- shugars (complex carbo hydrates) that gives you long power to pedalling. In the soccer they use chocolate or nutella at breakfast to give to players energy during the day, meanwhile others preffer energy drinks, integrators and other stuff. However turning back to the thread, I would really like to race there Big Grin and hope you give us even some videos after the race to see more stuff Smile cheers!
