Opinion: Mitch Ropelato Wins Fontana DH On a 29er Trail Bike
Just watched a chest cam of the "course". Some taped off rock slabs with no flow or speed carry and then a butt load of smooth pedaling doesn't really make a dh track these days does it?

Exclusive: Martin Whiteley and Trek Weigh In On Gwin
Obviously I'm only going off what I've read above but here is my take: Both Gwin or his agent and Whiteley acted unprofessionally at some point in all this. Gwin and agent should have said from the get go they weren't happy with the letter of intent and not acted like everything was 100% ok by signing it. Also maybe given Martin a bit more time to sort his roster out for the 2013 season. Whiteley should never have said he was going to pursue legal action but I guess he was pretty emotional about Gwin jumping ship so close to transfer deadlines and when he thought Aaron was totally on board. The interview here shows how cut up he was about the whole thing and to be honest if it paints anyone in a bad light its Gwin or his agent. Can't wait to here Aaron's in depth interview. I'll be interested to see how he manages to avoid the words more and money and maybe cooler clothes and helmet sponsor.

First ride will probably be 16th Dec. Far to long to wait in my opinion
