Shimano Sports Camera CM-1000 - Review
weird that no specs were listed. went and found them: http://shimano.camera/us/product.html 1080/30fps and 720/120fps? weird there's no 1080/60fps. That's a big drawback to me. wondering if a firmware could update that. Though, I thought I saw somewhere GoPro is releasing a firmware with 1080/120fps. GoPro is pretty far ahead in the action cam segment if you ask me. Seems to me that GoPro develops features around video/imaging and everyone else focuses on user experience. I was happy with my ContourHD, but I really enjoy the output from my GoPro Hero 3 Black.

Opinion: The Bearded Woman
uh, I can't edit my early, but I clearly have a typo there. The first sentence should say: I think asking, "how can that be fun?" ISN'T being closed minded...

I think asking, "how can that be fun?" is being closed minded. You're understanding that the person on the uni is having fun, but you don't understand what the fun part is. You're not saying. "I have never done that, thus, its stupid." Being open minded is understanding that other people see the world differently than you.

Pinkbike Poll: Protective Gear - or Not
When I first started riding, I was doing the full face/knees combo. Then as I figured out I was doing a lot of jumping and trying a bunch of new features, I started wearing a 661 jacket. I started crashing more and on features that I was comfortable with. Stopped wearing the jacket, started crashing a lot less. Now I go with full face/knees/elbow. I also started riding with the 661 subgear jersey with its light shoulder protection and minimal chest padding. The subgear is really just for abrasion. But the other padding has proved useful. Thankfully I haven't had to test the helmet protection. Does anyone have any suggestions for core protection? I really enjoyed the lift riding I did last summer and some of the shuttling I did. I'd like to add in some core protection. The 661 fit ok, but I'd like something slimmer. The raceface base jersey with the 3do stuff looks promising, but all the reviews I've read the shoulders don't really stay in place all that much.

The Steps to Adventure
maybe I missed it, but I feel like there hasn't been very much matt hunter content this year.

MUST WATCH: Horsepower - Brett Rheeder
my checking account hates this website. Thanks for that link. Though, I don't know if the gzero is the tire for me. It doesn't look like it would have much traction for trail riding which is what I'm interested in. Maybe it would work as a summer tire though. I'm currently riding the maxxis crossmark for summer which has been fine. When that tire is done, i'd be looking more for something like the G2 tire. http://store.trekbikes.com/product/bontrager+g2+tire.do?sortby=ourPicks&refType=4# but there's so much style with that white wall.
