I would go straight faves in a month. If someone thinks its a good video, they'll make that second click. A single video could conceivably get VoM in multiple months. I think this is ok. It shows that its a really good video. The only problem that I see with this is that eventually the list of videos added to favorites might get stuck with the same set of videos if a particular video gets a lot of faves. I think PB would have to make a change to the logic there. Maybe two different rows of videos being added to likes. top trending videos for the month and then top trending videos not in the list of top videos of the month. edit: Just an example of why I think it would be better. I feel that Shifted was a better video in terms of riding and cinematography than the Sea Otter video. I think more people clicked on it to see what happened at Sea Otter than because they enjoy the video. That's not to say the Sea Otter video wasn't good. It was really good. However, a month from now (maybe even a week from now) I'm more likely to watch Shifted vs the Sea Otter video. In fact, I've already watched the Shifted video twice in its entirety and bits of it more than that.

fast riders are fast. Is it me or does Gwin sound the same in all of his interviews. Doesn't seem super excited or really super bored ever. Maybe he's just a humble dude?

y'know, if someone can do urban downhilling, there's no reason someone couldn't do urban XC. OR Urban Enduro. yeah, you heard me say it here first! it'll happen.

cursing the 1 1/8 thread size on the arc stem. I've got a 1.5" steerer on my bottlerocket. Of course, there's a slight chance I upgrade my fork this year. Maybe I'll go tapered steerer and a reducer if I do that. Well, at least my current bike already works. :) -joel

Old-Man-Eggy - that first part sounds like Strava! hahahaha all kidding aside (haven't used Strava anyway), I wanted to comment here because you and Graeme make interesting points. It will be fun to see if privateers can compete against the big bucks rider. Although, typically speaking, the advantage the big bucks rider has is time. Time to practice and ride full time. Whereas a privateer won't have that same luxury. Sure at the upper levels, privateers are likely able to commit to the time for training. But for the most part a privateer would also have day jobs to divide their time. I've not paid much attention to Enduro except for where Atherton is involved (because of their web shows), but is there a mix of wheel sizes in Enduro racing? Wheel marketers are going to have a love/hate relationship with EWS. If the 26ers are consistently winning, they're going to lose some ground on selling the bigger wheels. on the flipside, if the bigger wheels are getting consistent wins, then its going to boost sales. I'm not trying to start a debate or anything, just noting that it will post an interesting situation in terms of product offerings.
