Transition Sentinel size Lg. Full coil/cascade link

$2500 USD
Full coil/cascade link 2019 Transition Sentinel size Lg. This bike has been an absolute blast and has been built from the ground up with top of the line parts where they matter most. I took one of the most fun frames I have ever thrown a leg over and put the best suspension and brakes available on it, added as long a dropper post as I could fit, and made sure all other parts functioned well and were bomber. Everything is in perfect working order and has been well maintained. It was completely torn down to the bare frame, overhauled, and the suspension was serviced over the winter at Joy Ride Cycles in Boise, ID and has not been ridden since. The frame has no dents or cracks, but there are several paint chips and rub marks from normal use. - 170mm Lyric Ultimate with Push ASC coil conversion (blue spring installed) and Push HC97 damper. Will include orange and green springs as well as 150mm shaft. Over $800 worth of upgrades. - MRP Hazard shock with 400# MRP Enduro SL spring. - Will include Fox DPX2 custom tuned by Diaz Suspension Designs - Upgraded Cascade Components rocker link (increases progression from 7 to 20% and travel to 146mm) - Hayes Dominion A4 brakes 203mm rotors front and rear. MTX red label pads. - NEW Canfield Special blend wheels. These are essentially Spank wheels with 30mm id rims and Spank Hex Drive hubs with 3.5 degree engagement. (these wheels have 3 rides on them) - Sram GX Eagle 12 speed 10-50 drivetrain and shifter. - Sram Descendant cranks 170mm with Wolf Tooth 30T oval chain ring. - One Up 210mm V2 dropper post and remote. - New Maxxis DHF 2.5 EXO 3C Max Grip front tire (3 rides.) - New Maxxis Disector 2.4 EXO rear tire (3 rides) - Race Face Aefect 40mm stem - Bontrager aluminum bars 760mm

Destination Showcase: McCall, Idaho [Updated for 2024]
@Redhawk: I think that about sums it up around here. If you treat people with respect you will most likely get an extremely warm and accommodating response. I did a stint living in the Wasatch and had a sticker on my touring skis that said, "Act like an asshole get treated like an asshole." Most locals here share the same sentiment.

@Dustfarter: In my book they are. We have hundreds of miles of backcountry trails. In the right hands they are a weapon for all day epics. Just make sure the ride doesn't have too much hike-a-bike!

@atourgates: Actually, some of us were bootlegging trails on public land and the owner of Jug, who is a close friend, invited us to start building in his land. Started as couple of riders and hand tools building trails like Stitches and has evolved into what it is today. The owner of Jug has always been a big proponent of golfers, bikers, and trail runners coalescing in the clubhouse over food and drinks. He and his family have always been huge supporters of the local community.

Wow, never expected my home trails of McCall to be featured on Pink Bike like this. Come and enjoy. If you do, please be respectful of other trail users. We have worked very hard here to maintain relationships with all users, especially the motorized community. They are responsible for keeping the vast majority of our backcountry trails cleared and open. For that we owe them many thanks.

What Tyler Found: The Outdoor Demo - Interbike 2015
This is actually the Oxide Battle Axe. 160mm travel with 29" wheels. The Longbow is Oxide's hard tail. All Oxide frames are long and slack with super short chain stays. I had the chance to ride a fully rigid Longbow and was absolutely blown away! The thing cornered like no bike I have ever ridden. I was taking a beating, but a friend couldn't drop me on the descents on his 150mm trail bike. These bikes are definitely worth a look. Clean, well thought out, outside the box bikes.

Mark Matthews Fundraiser and Photography Show
@swkshepherd The problem is most athletes aren't employees of the company so they aren't covered by workman's comp and aren't provided insurance. Most athletes are 1099'd as sub contractors and as such are responsible for their own insurance. I have moonlighted as a ski athlete for the past 8 years and three weeks ago broke my back filming in Alaska. Not only have I incurred some serious medical costs, but how I really make ends meet is with my landscaping business. Needless to say a broken back isn't great for landscaping and I have had to give away a bunch of projects that involve finish stone work that I need to do personally. It's a shit sandwich, but I knowingly signed up for it. I'm not saying that it's right or fair by any means, but it was definitely a conscious decision I made with known risks. I hope things change in the future for non traditional athletes. But until then, we all go in knowingly and eyes wide open in exchange for some pretty amazing experiences. Cheers! P.S. This by no means is meant to demean the tragic nature of many athletes accidents. Life changing injuries and worse are always sad events and people involved in them need all of the support they can get.
