EWS Reveals New Entry System for 2016
Dude, it is obvious you have no idea of how difficult that can be in some parts of the world, obviously not in Scotland or 1st world countries, as it should be, but it is not always like that.

Canyon Strive AL 7.0

$1500 EUR
I'm selling my Canyon Strive AL 7.0 2014, size M, "raw club" color theme. I sell it simply because I got a very good deal on a new bike that I couldn't pass. The bike is in perfect, like new condition, I haven't even had any falls on it. It was bough on Nov. 2013 and hasn't been used much, OEM tires and brake pads show that, they still have more than half their life ahead. The bike is really amazing, it climbs really good for a 160 mm bike, especially on technical stuff. On downhills it is playful and loves to be in the air popping out of everything. What I like the most is how it turns, both tight and fast open turns. Attached photos show the most notable "marks" and scratches, none of which are on any important area such as stanchions and so on. Of course, the frame does not have any weird plays in pivots or anything, the bike is ready to be used like new. All components are OEM, which you can check out here (,3/Canyon/Strive-AL-7-0,14592). What is not OEM: - Handlebar. It has a Funn Full on 785 mm handlebar. I also have a Funn Fatboy 750 mm, both have 30 mm rise. Buyer can choose. - Wheels. The bike currently has Hope Tech enduro wheels, just bought, they don't even have 100 km. As soon as I got them I set them up for tubeless with Stans yellow tape (but the bike currently has tubes). I also have the OEM wheels (SunRingle Charger Comp), the buyer can choose and that will change the final price. The fork has travel adjustability from 160 mm to 120 mm, and both the fork and the rear shock feature 3 position CTD dampers. These are 2014 and work really well, not like 2013 CTD stuff. Adjustements work great in both suspensions and they are in perfect condition. The bike is delivered without pedals of course. Final price would be 1800€ with the Hope wheels or 1500€ with the SunRingle OEM wheels. I also think that if the buyer races enduro frequently it may be a good idea to get both wheel sets, we could work out a good price in such case. The bike is in Valencia, Spain, I will ship within Europe. Happy trails!

The Interview: Fabien Barel
"I can tell you that the stem was useless, coming from road cycling, I can tell you that small wheels and small frames had to be changed. For me, today, there is no place for a derailleur on the rear, because that comes from road cycling. If today, you completely forget about the impact of the market, you restart fresh with a chart of what is needed on an MTB, would you place a mechanical thing next to the rear axle? You would not." There is not one single word of this that I do not completely agree with. I always asked myself what was the reason of the stem's existence, never found one. I have always thought derailleurs are a really bad concept in the first place, put in a really bad place, thus bringing tons of side problems and complexity. SRAM, now that Shimano is wasting time on electronic shi(f)tting it is time to step up and bring us gearboxes!!!!!!!!!!
