Aug 14, 2012Specialized P3 Aluminum
$550 USD2007 Specialized P3 for sale (one size fits all)
I bought this bike in 2008 when I was riding at an indoor park a lot. It was about $1000 at the time, and I recall these retailed at around $1500
Since then I've only had it out at the skate park a handful of times.
I would love to keep this bike, but I'm moving into a smaller apartment and need to downsize the bike stable a little.
Shipping is negotiable, but I would prefer to find someone in the Portland/Vancouver area who could actually meet me and look at it.
Overall it's in excellent shape. It's been kept inside and well maintained. The chain is original, so it's overdue for a new one, but it's still in good shape and works fine.
It is a used bike of course, so there are a few scratches on the bar ends and brake levers, a bit of corrosion on a couple non-moving parts, and two small chips in the finish on the frame.
All and all it is a great bike, and super fun for this type of riding. It was an improvement over the previous year p3, with slightly shorter chainstays and lower bottom bracket for a more stable feeling.
I was/still am a beginner at this type of riding, and even I found it easy to trackstand, manuel, and wheelie.
Of course the 9 speed makes it a little heavier for jumping, but the gears are handy for street riding.
The SRAM X-9 derailleur is as tough as they come and was replaced right before I got the bike, so it's hand very minimal use.
