Giro Cipher Full Face Helmet - Review
The Cipher has a better range of motion (for me) with a Leatt 5.5 than the Remedy, but not as good as a D3. I'm tall, with long neck, so might be different for others.

Giro Cipher Full Face Helmet - Review
I bought the titanium helmet back in January, it does look nice with the tan-brown trim. The helmet is on the big side though, I wear a 7 3/8" baseball hat, and the Large was too big. The Medium actually feels a bit looser than I'd expect too. My D3 (size L) fits perfectly, so maybe I don't have a Giro head? The padding is really comfortable, breathes well with goggles (even in warm California), and I have better lateral vision than the D3. The chin strap is hard to adjust though. I have to pull it as tight as it can go and I still have some up/down helmet movement. Also, the visor connection pins are really cheap plastic. One came bent, but I was able to still kinda shove it in the hole. Overall I'd give the helmet a 4/5 for price, looks, vision and comfort. They just need to improve the fit and chin strap.

Red Bull Rampage: Catch-22
Nice write up, Mitchell. Your timing for this post is perfect. You articulated what we are all thinking about, in different ways of course, but in a format that confirms our strong feelings about this type of bike event. I think Joyride has gotten too risky as well. Somebody is going to die there someday too, in front of an even bigger live crowd than Rampage.
