My Crusade - Opinion
I came this far to find the first person who actually knew that the Loctite is, in fact, in the paint department. That's where they keep most of the tape and adhesives. In most stores this is not the same aisle as the caulk and sealant. The real problem is customers who think they always know better than those big box store employees - often the customer does know better, but after the fourth person directed you to paint, you ought to consider you might not be the smartest person in this specific instance. Had you pulled your head out and listened to the first or even 2nd person, you could have saved yourself hours, and this article wouldn't even need to exist. Unfortunately, as mentioned, you would have found 242, as 243 is not typically carried.

The World Through the Eyes of One the Most Stylish Freeriders Out There - Remy Metailler's 2016 POV Recap
Beat me to it! I literally said it to myself out loud, just to scroll down and see your comment. Those three words sum up this sport/hobby perfectly.

GoPro Best of the World Contest - October Judging Open
This has to be one of the most competitive months period. Absolutely insane videos; It seems unfair to prior entries. I'm super stoked to see everyone else felt the same about #1. I had to watch it over and over because it feels like you're there. It captures mountain biking in a way we can ALL actually relate to. Absolutely amazing.

Why I Didn't Drop In - Sam Reynolds on Red Bull Rampage
I honestly have more respect for you now Sam, and am only disappointed to hear that there is any hint of second thoughts. As much as I enjoyed watching Rampage, I feel pretty frustrated with the sheer, unnecessary risk factor for the riders. Those spines are too narrow, and too tall to host an event like this. Sure, you could argue that no one is forcing the riders to perform, but Sam's own words would say otherwise. He felt enormous pressure to participate, and still reconsiders the decision he made. I feel like a line has been crossed, and we're all partially responsible as viewers. I am stoked to hear about the efforts of the organization this year to improve the riding experience but I think it needs to be taken further. Safety certainly is not the number one priority, as it should be. The risks involved in this event could be reduced enormously, with only a small reduction in excitement.

Box One Derailleur and Shifter - First Ride
Everyone's flexing their thumbs to down vote these terrible puns. Certainly some out of the box thinking, but I doubt there'll be a major shift in the market. Seems like a few too many misses and drops means the giants will continue to retain their market. If box continues to grind away and changes a few gears I think they'll have a shot at climbing to the top. But that's just my opinion.

Box One Derailleur and Shifter - First Ride
SRAM: cheese pizza. Mainstream, simple, reliable. Shimano: pepperoni. Mainstream, with a little bit extra to it. BOX: anchovie pizza. For those special, select few.

Ask Pinkbike: XC Bike Upgrades, Fork Offset, and Mid-Air Braking
"cough, yeah, me neither. I've never done that cough" says my broken collar bone. I hope to be back on a bike late November, and when I do, I will make a big effort to keep my fingers off those brakes in the air. There's definitely good reason to keep your fingers in the ready position, but in my case, I would have avoided many injuries if I stayed away from those brakes - er "breaks".
