not sarcasm, I was there. Some of those rocky sections are actually pretty steep, but you don't see it in the camera and bingelli just rips through them anyway and makes it look easy.
the only thing that is positive here is that some people have put time and effort in to make a DH event happen. the track is shit tho. just end the race after it dumps to the road. super short race will inspire more entertaining riding for the spectators and maybe allow enough time to have a best of 2 runs style event. not sure what the promoters are thinking here.
if it was suppose to be a downhill race.... then they wouldn't be on single crown 6" bikes and winning. This is a downhill oriented endure race lets be real....
I ran into Logan Binggeli in St. George at the top of the Zen Trail randomly the week of Christmas and he was rad. Super humble guy. Ended up riding down Zen with him and his buddy. Awesome to see him doing well!
Yes, Fontana is tired. But it's still great! I love being able to play with the pros (not like that) and even though it's been 20 years, the upper parts of the course are still damn gnarly. For Redtazz - yeah, right.
If you're running a water pack, just loop the chest strap under the mount, helps stabilize it a bit. Still no helmet cam, but at least you look like you're going faster than -1 mph everywhere. :/
