Yep... Pretty silly to see these large companies move towards this idea. Aluminum is much more susceptible to fatigue failure than steel or property layed up carbon and I suspect these frames will have a shorter lifespan due to it.

$1500 CADUp for sale is my unique handmade British carbon fiber road bike! This bike is an excellent race bike for someone on a budget, or an excellent first road bike. Buy used, be spoiled!
Purchased from Eurosport originally, this bike has been well maintained. There are small areas where the clear coat of the frame is peeling. Frame integrity has not been compromised, there are no cracks or carbon delamination.
Full ultegra (2x10) build, with dura-ace deraileur. Easton EA50 Aero rims and hubs. Clear coat on deraileur is a little rough but still functioning perfectly.
Can include ultegra pedals if asking price is met.
