Hello Isaac, If you, or anyone is reading this in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area, Charlie Kelly will be doing a book signing for his new book, Fat Tire Flyer, this Sunday, Oct. 19th at Orange 20 Bikes on Melrose Ave at Heliotrope at 3:30pm. Charlie's old partner in the first mountain bike company in the world, Gary Fisher, will be on hand to support. I will be screening Klunkerz after the signing. We'll have (good) beer and maybe a cool DJ spinning, too! We are working hard to make this a very special event. I look forward to seeing Charlie in SoCal and I hope to see some of you there!

Very nicely done. Skip, please hit me up on the Klunkerz website or Facebook page. I want to send you a complimentary copy of the film for your victory. Maybe when I get over to The Islands you guys can take me for a spin. Ride on!

Awesome job. I'm sure anyone who sees this wants to ride with you. Funny thing about the music, Thomas D is an old family friend. Seriously. He was at our wedding and whatnot. He's on tour in The States right now. We're going to see him next Friday here in Los Angeles. I'll be sure to tell him he's got more than one Klunk-headed fan.

Klunkerz DVD - Review
Thanks for all the support and kind words. It's true that Klunkerz has been 'out' for awhile. But what does 'out' really mean? I'm kinda on my own on this one and I've got no more money to advertise or whatever, so it's all about me sending out packages and good old word-of-mouth. I've been selling them out of the back of my truck and in a few bike shops. Haven't sold too many, though. Funny about everyone seeing it on Extreme or whatever in different countries...I've never been paid for any of that and it sounds like I probably never will. You can bet someone's getting paid for it, though. I thought there was money in getting your movie broadcast on the tele. Guess I was wrong on that score. Please send me info on the broadcasts if anyone's got details. Anyone know a good lawyer?:). Hell, I'm still paying off the bar tab from the cast party, and that was years ago. Those boys can still put it away, no doubt! Note to any aspiring filmmakers out there, don't do it with your own money, make it corporate with sponsors blah blah blah. Thanks for the support PinkBike and all the folks who actually bought a disc from me...you rock! Thanks for supporting INDEPENDENT films. This is Charlie Kelly, founder and promoter of the Repack race series, Gary's partner in the first mountain bike company in the world, cleverly called 'MountainBikes', and the founder and editor of the first mountain bike magazine in the world...'The Fat Tire Flyer. He ran that magazine for 6 years before any other publication got in the game. Ride on, Billy writer/producer/director KLUNKERZ www.klunkerz.com
