Riding

Knolly Bikes is pleased to welcome our newest team member Mark Matthews. Mark has been building his resume over the past two years throwing down impressive web edits and feature segments in movies such as the 2013 release of ‘Alchemy’. Mark is a great fit for our brand resonating a professional and fun approach to riding his bike. He’s also in touch with a broad fan base with over 33,000 followers on Instagram.

Riding

Coming full steam ahead off his crash at Rampage in 2013, Mark is eager to pick up where he left off riding for Knolly. We’re excited to see Mark progress as he continues to build a promising career.

Mark: “I'm really excited to get on board with Knolly this year! My experience with the bikes so far has been amazing and it's a great crew of guys. I feel like Knolly's image aligns perfectly with my style of riding. Can't wait for the season to kick in!

James Doerfling – @jamesdoerfling
Knolly Team riders - James Doerfling

Simply put, James is amongst a small handful of elite riders in the industry consistently throwing down impressive media pieces including web edits, stunning photography and being featured in the industry’s top films such as ‘Where The Trail Ends.

Riding

James is often named as one of Big Mountain riding elites and we couldn't agree more.

Riding

James has a busy schedule this year as he just wrapped up filming in Utah for Freeride Entertainment’s latest edition ‘Rad Company.’ His further plans include spending the balance of 2014 working on sponsorship obligations and a segment for a movie yet to be named, scheduled for release in April 2015. James continues to impress with a calm respectful demeanor off the bike and transforming into an animal once he’s in the cockpit.

Riding

We look forward to James continuing to progress his career with Knolly Bikes, showing us what can be done when you push industry leading technology to the limit.

Riding

James: “I’ve been on the Knolly program for so long now it’s almost like family…I just belong there. I really can’t see myself riding any other bikes and I’ll be sticking around for a long time even if I have to buy the bikes ha ha.

Garett Bueher@garettbuehler:
Knolly Team riders - Garett Buehler

Like everyone else we love this guy. His easy going humorous approach to life and biking is infectious. Garett will crack a joke, make everyone laugh then drop into a big sender throwing style as wide as the grins he leaves on people. Dropping an impressive contribution in ‘Where the Trail Ends’, Garett has recently been busy dominating the web with top tier web segments and jaw dropping photography.

Riding

As an operating partner in Global Epix, Garett plans to spend late spring in Peru working on a couple media pieces in addition to touring. He then plans to return home to Nelson BC where he will be working on his segment for the yet to be named movie scheduled for release in April 2015.

Riding

Garett continues to impress with his bike skills and it’s hard to believe he’s still in his early twenties as one of the industry’s elites. There’s a lot to come from Garett in the coming years and we’re stoked to see him progress his career with Knolly Bikes. Also, keep your eyes open for a new edit shredding his Chilcotin coming next week!

Riding

Garett: “It’s been a fun few years and only looking like it’s going to get more exiting as the adventures continue. It’s always great having bikes that work so well and that's never a problem riding for Knolly. Great bikes, great crew... Happy to be back for another great year!

Ryan Berrecloth@ryan.berrecloth
Knolly Team riders - Ryan Berrecloth

Putting together a strong combination of bike skills and building creativity, Ryan is showing no signs of slowing down as he enters his sixth year riding for Knolly Bikes. He was recently featured in the April issue of Decline Magazine in a five page feature article highlighting a story written by Ryan on the legendary line ‘Dr. Greenthumb.

Riding

Ryan is currently working on a couple sponsorship obligations and building a few moves for his upcoming segment in a yet to be named movie scheduled for release in April 2015. Holding Knolly’s longest tenure for our athletes, we look forward to seeing Ryan continue his career with Knolly Bikes.

Knolly Team riders - Garrett Buehler

Ryan: “It’s truly an honor to ride for a company like Knolly Bikes. I feel very fortunate to be able to ride the caliber of bikes Knolly continues to deliver and the entire team, staff and athletes are a pleasure to work with.

Riding

Linden Feniak – @lindenfnk
Knolly Team riders - Linden Feniak

Becoming a well know name from the Sunshine Coast of BC, Linden’s easy going positive attitude make him one of Knolly’s stars of tomorrow. Growing up racing, Linden has been focussing the past couple years on what can simply be put as “shredding”.

Riding

Linden has been busy working as an integral part of the Sunshine Coast Gravity Bike park crew in addition to building lines of his own. He was recently featured in a ‘Characters’ piece on Pinkbike. Look for more from Linden as he continues to expand his horizons in the mountain bike community.

Riding

Linden: “It's so great to have a bike you can fully trust and stand behind 100%. The Knolly team this year is pretty much the ‘Dream Team’. We have some awesome new additions to the team and couldn’t be happier. Can't wait to see what's to come and work on some more sweet projects with the gang!

Knolly Knation Racing Program: We launched the Knolly Knation Racing Program at the beginning of the year which has proven to be very successful thus far. The main objective of the program was to build the foundation for our race program (DH, XC & Enduro) and to support racers globally. Regions are managed by the Knolly Knation Race Managers and they are still taking applications. Reach out to your respective Race Manager to apply for sponsorship.

Bryson Racing Clan: As a BC born and bred company growing our presence on the Canadian race scene is important for the team at Knolly. To support the growth within Canada we’re excited to announce a partnership with Jeff Bryson, Anthony Evans, Nick Grimm and Sean Sampson for the 2014 season. Stay tuned for more from the Racing Clan team as they kick off their racing season this spring.

Spencer Graf: @spencer_graf
Riding

Entering his sophomore year racing for Knolly, Spencer has been a valuable asset to the team riding in a couple team videos in addition to developing his racing resume. Spencer will be focussed on the BC Cup and select Canada Cup race series in 2014.

Spencer: “I couldn’t be happier to represent Knolly Bikes this race season. Everyone there is passionate about cycling and it shows in the bikes. The Podium is everything I’ve ever wanted in a DH bike and more. I can’t wait to get to the races and continue pushing my limits alongside my team. Thanks for the support!

Knolly Team riders - James and Garrett

Two of the industries top Big Mountain Riders crammed into the back seat of a float plane. Sometimes you need to take different transportation to get to lines these guys find challenging.

Stay tuned for more from the Knolly crew and another team announcement within the next couple weeks!

Cheers to riding bikes!

@motown, please don't bring that political bullsh*t to PB. Plus your liable to crash the website by promoting it anyway

Hmm, Doerfling mentions working on and unnamed film, so does Buehler and Ryan Berrecloth. A couple weeks ago in "Return of the Claw" Darren Berrecloth mentions a where the trail ends part 2 in passing. Could this unnamed film be "Where the Trail Ends Part 2"?

Whatever it is I'm looking foreward to April 2015.

I think Knolly should bring Kinrade, Klassen and Romaniuk into the fold. Let them go wherever they want, ride whatever they want, show off Knolly bikes and film cool stuff. A throw back to the Drop-in days to be sure, but there is still tons of interest in what those guys did. It started a lot of us on the path to riding cause they always looked like they were having tons of fun.

 Seconded!

Nice to see Knolly adding a multi talented rider. I like watching the bikes progress with the times yet keep the signature feel of a stable trail bike. Some of these pics are mind bending.

Wait - I managed to pick up two last year - an Endo and a Podium, and I am not on their team? WTF? Oh, yeah, it's because I'm old and don't ride very well. Dammmit - life's unfair. Go Knolly.

Aces! What an amazing stable of shredders. Knolly has the big mountain scene covered like nobody else. Buehler might just be one of the coolest guys on a bike.

Damn. People should really proofread releases. It's coming to be less common these days. Editors must be a rarity.

Take one yellow podium, one white vest, mix them together and lay them sideways, the result = astonishing

No Aurons visible but lots of Duroluxes and Ruxes. Is it because no one's riding the Warden (650b)?
  • 1 3
is it a 14 year old comment? or is it an opinion by a rider who has owned several new high end bikes and thought that regardless of how much "fun" the bike was that his money went further with another company? sorry for having an honest opinion on PB, i guess i forgot its just for advertising and faboys. Not real end user experiences. Have fun "looking" cool.
