SEZON is the first ever Polish downhill documentary film made by 16 years old Kuba Gzela. There was nothing before just short videos from particular events. This time Kuba Gzela took a serious look at the whole downhill season in Poland.

We can see there all the top riders preparing for the new racing year in winter, competing in DH events and training throughout the season and having fun in their private lives.

Film shows the best riders and real atmosphere in Polish downhill. Kuba Gzela visited all the national events and the very lucky edition of European Cup in Pila, Italy where Slawek Lukasik finished at the first place.

Invited riders are: Maciej Jodko, Michał Śliwa, Michał Gzela, Sławek Łukasik, Maciek Hojnor, Mikołaj Wincenciak, Arek Perin, Aram Raoof, Tomek Gagat and girls from Lolka Team.

We can also see there special guests: Rockstar Diamondback Team from England and famous Polish freeride rider Bartek „Jaws” Krzyston.

The whole documentary was filmed from early season preparations in February / March to the last events in September.

That was awesome, good to see film makers throwing out full length free films shows lots of love for what they do rather than just trying to bring in money. Awesome film. Very sad about the guy at the end, way to young to die never good to see but great to see the film paying its respects to him props everyone who worked on this.

felt a bit generic. nothing really caught my attention in this flick. the influence and intensity lacks to me. i think that we need more shit from 2011. never felt more amped to ride and rip harder than everything i saw back then.

Nice film, pity that there is not a title in 39:30 Rychlebské trails in the Czech Republic, though it is also the builder of trails. Otherwise great film.

Really good movie! great work! I don't know much about the DH scene in Poland, just that it's big. If I would go there this summer, which is the best place/bikepark?

 1.Góra Żar is the best
2. Wisła is realy good or Rużemberok in Slovakia

why does everyone in Poland ride marzocchi forks?
  • 3 2
I guess it's because of a good offers from polish dealer.
  • 4 2
Because, almost everyone in Poland think that Marzocchi forks are indestructible, great and cheap on service. This is a little bit strange. Wink
  • 3 2
That sounds like a good set of reasons to run marzocchi. I love my 888s and i wouldnt change them for anything except the 380 if and when dh bikes are commonly 650b

Kakarolek- do you even race? Noone at national cup cares about old 2006/7 indestructible Marzocchis, believe me, guys from elite category aren't thinking the same way, the kids buying their first downhill bike. So don't compare statement of few kids with decision that racers are making, that's totally different point of view. Main factor is how they are sponsored and where they can get better deal for their money. As far as I know, marzocchi can offer some really great prices for racers and I hope, that part of them are fully sponsored with their forks.

Yes I'm getting ahead a little bit.. But I don't know why people are so excited by this brand. Tell me who can afford in Poland for example Marzocchi RC3 EVO V.2 Ti? The price is around 7000 PLN. I know that racers can buy the best forks, they have a lot of sponsors, you know. Summarizes I prefer my Rock Shox Smile

I prefer RS too, or even fox, but it's not about what you like, it's about what gives you the best performance for its price. I'm sure there is a handful of people that'll buy 7000PLN fork, but if you only race you can get really good bargain form polish dealer. Moreover it depends on your and your team sponsors. For example Jaws is sponsored by big M, so does RMF Rockstar Team. I'll admit not everyone in Poland rides Marzocchi, there are lots of racers and freeriders using other brand forks, just this movie is mostly concetrated on those athletes.

kakarolek actually you will need to be very lazy (or rich) to buy a fork for that kind of money. I personally know many riders with "top shelf" suspension and none of them payed full price for their stuff. Sure, they gave a lot but it was never the full distributor price.
