Thanks man, I definitely had the most amazing time exploring in the desert! The views, weather and gnarly riding were all top notch. There are tons of shuttleable trails around. Bootleg Canyon is one of the main DH centers near Vegas and DH Mike runs shuttles 10-4 every weekend. You can pay on site $30 for up to 6 laps, which is great. Look up Bootleg Canyon Gravity Racing. Lots of other shuttle options everywhere if you have some buddies, and there were some other services around the St George area as well for hire. Around Vegas are definitely some world class trails! But depending how much time you have Utah and Arizona have a ton of stuff as well. I wanted to hit Arizona, but "only" had 9 days of riding. Next trip I'll be looking to check there too.

Tech Briefing: Clever Little Gadgets, MTB Jeans, Colourful Brakes & More
@Bman7649: I'm wondering if the V1 dropper is the most reliable of the oneup iterations. I've seen issues with my buddies who have the V2 with much less usage while my V1 has been flawless for 5 straight years of heavy winter and summer riding... with like zero maintenance other than slapping some grease under the collar once a year and wiping the stanchion down between rides.
